  1. I like the badge surface for the Logo.....
  2. they have a different product for gluing the spider to the former http://www.prosoundservice.com/m9_view_ite...D-RECONEGLUEKIT
  3. you know what i noticed about this.. it says rubber adheasive.. no were does it say CA , and there is no activator for it .. i dunno if it would do the job.. maybe for surrounds and dust caps.. I used this stuff on some custom 10" Icons and was able to pull a 143.6db @ 10hz with out any problems in fact I pushed enough power to the subs to tear them apart and the glue never even showed the slightest sign of letting go at all
  4. the first few times I purchased B Quiet I ordered it on line from the USA...I never knew it was a canadian product till about 8 months ago... I have never seen any problem with any seeping on the seems or anyhting..my Tempo was done up with this stuff over a year ago and the stuff is really on there...no sagging or dripping or sliding in any way....I tried to peel some out yesterday (not a chance in hell) personal experience shows me the product works..it stays on when applied and it does what it was intended to do there will always be someone who knocks it though (usually because of word of mouth and not actuall experience using the stuff) this thread is not a debate or poll anymore.....it's a buy this cause my buddy done it right and he knows his stuff.....
  5. I have used B Quiet on about 7 or 8 installs in the past year and the stuff works well ,I have had no problems in any way with the product plus they are only a Province away , the shipping is cheep and they give me good deals
  6. I thought Dynamat was garbage...messy to work with and it comes off out of all the deadener I used the B Quiet was the mose cost efficient and easiest to use......I'll be putting 300sq2 ft in the Ground Pounder
  7. Plexi and Lexan enclosures are not as acoustically dead as a good solid MDF enclosure...I have built several but price VS performance I would rather spend money on other things if not assembled right the Lexan/Plexi enclosures with large pannels sound absolutley AWFULL
  8. glad to see you and Mike are able to do buisiness.....good guy and he uses really good quality vinyl
  9. Great..... now I got a nut spun to get the wife a push up bra and see what those DD's look like with a bit of clevage squish.........................................
  10. own it in what way.... I have played with both subs and the Xcon SQ wipes the floor with the LVL 4...the Xcon is much more musical
  11. or you could find a used JBL/Crown BPX 1100.1 or even a 2200.1 on e bay the SQ and low note digging from these amps will rip a new A hole in all the choices listed above and the 1100.1 usually bench tests around 1400w rms I have seen both amps on e bay for cheep
  12. personally I think it's a bad Idea.... trade in programs usually cost the company money in the end
  13. I like Boobies they are almost as fun as my four 15's ..................................................................
  14. I have used a few bottles of this stuff....works very well http://www.prosoundservice.com/m9_view_ite...D-RECONEGLUE8OZ
  15. I would definately go with the Xcon.....I'm running four 15" and there is not a single boomy note from them at all...the note overlap is almost non existant and they hit like jack hammers
  16. can't untill the electrical upgrades are done....the amp is not getting the 400+ amps of current it needs....it shuts down when I try and roll a burp
  17. really digging these subs I seriously think these Xcons are really comparable to the differential drive JBL Wgti subs for tightness and accuracey.....they just hit 4X harder....LOL it will probably take a few weeks to break them in.....the low notes are JUST starting to come out , I'll have to wait till they are broken in and I complete the electrical upgrades before I do any TL numbers
  18. I bet that roll of tape got at least 16" of height a few times..LOL I'll take an excursion vid tomorrow when I do my coffee run.....just rediculous the cone movement of these things
  19. a quick vid at the mall this morning..........
  20. for a Dodge Dakoda..a pair of DD 3512 5.50cf3 tuned at 33hz.......
  21. I didn't know you were a part of this project. What did you do? i bet it was fun working on it hey? he smoked a bunch of ciggars and drank a few King Cans.......................
  22. I'll make a vid once I make some ground on the sound deadening...I did some 10hz to 25hz tones earlier.....WHOLLY!! don't have any more time for my project untill I catch up on customer builds
  23. no enclosure.....he ripped all the foam out of the seat and used ripped 2 x 4's to hold it in place.....unreal the quality some people put into their work...LOL it is basically running free air with out any seperation between the front and back of the woofer....he might as well hang it from his rear veiw mirror
  24. I was drinking my coffee at the local install shop when I noticed this 10" woofer install in a Ford F150 this is with out a shadow of a doubt the worst sub install I have EVER seen if you can top it show the pics...LOL..
