  1. Tiss is slow going...very little time between the kids and the customers builds time to give those JBL 660gti components a new home
  2. looking good... wholly dynamat.........!!!
  3. 49" heigh ....21" wide and 24.75" deep
  4. I think I'll be putting Home Theater on the menu for now on.....I now got a nut twisted to build myself a HT Surround set up with JBL Pro series transducers anyways....it's bin a long build but I'm starting to like what I see
  5. didn't cut the mustard with my low frequency fetish...but I knew it would be usefull for something...LOL
  6. I can't wait to hear these things.....my goal is not SPL I just want to lose control of my bottom lip and slobber when the low stuff kicks in
  7. mine are shipped...........expected delivery...the 14th
  8. the Xcons are coming!!!!!!!!!! :bigclap: I now feel motivated...................................
  9. I have punched over double the rated RMS into the Icons and pushed them as far as they are capable of going I was un able to do any coil damage what so ever with a clean signal but like any other sub it will come apart if over exerted with to much power....the suspension can only take so much before it lets go I would recommend staying close to the RMS rating with a good enclosure and a properly set amp...you will get good life out of them and not void warranty
  10. you don't need big super woofers to get the lows for example this set up peaked at 147db @ 27hz
  11. LOL...who cares....like really most people hung out there to just talk smack anyways..most of them probably don't even own cars or systems
  12. I wouldn't want the A6000gti......I would not be able to properly power the moster and besides..I already have enough power to shread four SQ woofers at will...
  13. it can draw up to 500 amps too
  14. finally ........here is all the amplification 290w rms x 4 @ 4ohm for the components and what ever that 80lb thing is rated at for the subs
  15. That sucks for us all. A higher power doesn't want your build to come through. We will make sure Trevor gets his, don't worry about that. He was one of the first and has been along the Xcon ride the whole time. And besides, he believes in higher power amplifiers anyway. it's not an amp...it's a 500 ampere eating flux capacitor might be able to time travel when the Xcons hit 88hz....................LOL
  16. my last system would hold 143db+ @ 10hz and peak at 147hz..it was MORE than loud enough but it didn't quite make my vision blurry enough on the lows to crash my car so it's being upgraded
  17. not worried....they will get here I'll have the door pods started soon
  18. my tracking number is broken
  19. anything past 145db is brain dead for daily driving........ my next install will be over 150db for daily....
  20. the right enclosure will have a good balance of F3 and port velocity with no interior restrictions that can get in the way of airflow (for example widow/screen door bracing can KILL the performance of an enclosure) even though it looks cool during the build the more dense the material used the better also...gives an enclosure better deadness and reduces acoustical ringing
  21. I bet the shipping will cost over $400 canadian..................... he doesn't care though..
