  1. Finally got a little more done on this project. I have one of the two parts completely finished, and the second is 80% carpeted. Im getting the threaded inserts to put them together tomorrow, and going to install them. Then it will be ready to package up and send out.
  2. Damn, Mark that didnt take long for you to go live with it. Need some feedback on it. Personally, Im diggin' it so I dont care what ya'll say. LOL
  3. Thanks guys Dont recall exactly how long it took, but probably around a week to a week and a half from the time I started on it to when I shipped it out.
  4. Right on. This box features 2 port inserts and a plug to run sealed. If I remember right the tuning was 35 and 45 hz.

This was built back in early March, but I wanted to post up the log here as well...
  6. Specs are 4.5cf @ 38Hz for a 15" Mach 5 SPL
  7. Here are a few more pics...
  8. Trevor, dont you work in your garage? I thought I have seen some pics, and it looked pretty good to me. Got any pics? Whats your plans for a new shop? Aaron, where can I get one of those tables?
  9. Thats actually the finished product. He already had the aeros to install himself, and he wanted it left bare. Maybe he will send me some pics of it installed though.
  10. Thanks Aaron. If I can keep up the way things are going, Im looking to build my own shop at my house, instead of using my parents. The Broncos logo is actually a vinyl decal stuck on the underside of the glass.
  11. Yes, it has been in the test box I pictured earlier. With and with out some polyfil to mess with approx sizing. As it did well in that box, I cannot take that performance as what will reach production because of the limitations of the basket, so the changes could effect output and clarity. Meaning the adjusted version for production might not like the box I am using, it might preform better in a smaller box for example. If we wanted to, we could move to production with the 8 as it is now, but we wanted a little more out of the driver so it would really stand out. I like the sound of that
  12. Im not sure on the specifics. He forwarded me the design straight from Pete, and we just moved from there. Im sure he will post a lot of info I left on in the thread over on ca.com. So I will update this one when I find out.

I have had these on my camera for over a month now. Was just going to delete them, but decided I would post them up, just for the heck of it. And that one that doesn't quite resemble a sub box, well it was a beer pong table for a friend's house. LOL
  14. 5.75cf @ 38Hz for a AQ HDC318 Only difference that was made from the design was that he decided to level the floor himself, so the extra stuff you see on the bottom of the enclosure was omitted. This box was also left bare.
  15. He had Pete do the design from TTB, but unfortunately it didnt quite fit my build style. So Chris re-did the design, keeping the internal dims and everything exact, just changed the orientation of the panels to fit our style a little better. Not exactly sure whats going in the enclosure, or what it is going in. It will be two mirrored enclosures, that he will be bolting together once he gets them in his vehicle. I got working hard this weekend, and didnt take too many pics. As we set now, both enclosures are completely built, and will bet getting sanded, and ports painted tomorrow. From there, carpet soon. Onto the pics...
  16. No problem man. I know its a beast, lol. Even if you could fit it in, you still need the HP to drag it around, haha. Thanks for letting me know, I appreciate it.
  17. Haha. Thanks Mark Should have a few more build logs up soon. Getting really busy again...
  18. Oh definitely, if you are going to be putting a large radius roundover on the edges, brads are the best option. The screws will tear up your bits, where the brads wont.
  19. Looks good Aaron. Cant wait to see it all finished, and hear how it sounds. What are the specs on the box?
  20. Sounds good man, just let me know.
  21. Actually, I havent shipped his out yet, he is over seas serving in the military. Anyways, he just notified me, that he cant use the box anymore, and is looking to sell it. If you are interested in this exact box, I can put you in touch with him. It would save you quite a bit of money. If I were to do this one again, it would be around $450 plus shipping, and shipping would run around $200. hmmm well first what are the dimensions? Cuz its just a decoration if I cant fit it in my car haha. What size are the woofer holes? Yea I know. Ill get you some more info tonight, when I get to my house. Thats where all the paperwork is, then we can go from there. Where are you from BTW? Arizona =( its so hott here haha Ok, the overall dimensions are 44 wide, 32 deep, and 18 tall. The cutout is 14 1/16" with the overall diameter cutout of 16" for a flush mount. If you need anymore info, just let me know.
