I did once..... Almost tore off my trunk lid.. Not literally but you know... And the resonse was worse you might gain some output with a wall off. which would let you take it easier on the sub. Yeah walling off sounds like a cool project but it's my daily driver.. lol not yet, the first sub was underpowerd and cuaght fire on the negitive lead, the second sub was on 5k with no fire but again negitive lead toasted and broke off, this is a new recone on this sub and it dnt even get warm,also it doesnt smell at all i must ask.. how long have you been in car audio? just got back in to audio in 2012, why?
