Look at title. As an example, a 15" Fi SSD both D1 and D2 have the same specs except for a 40% higher BL on the D2, can someone please explain what is happening that makes this configuration have that much more motor force?

Keep similar speakers doing similar things, keep your subs low and get a midbass. Or upgrade sub?

Suggestions for both? I'm going active with 2 Radian 950pb under the dash and 2 6nd430 midrange in an ap enclosure in the stock door spot. Might add a 8 or 10 for better midbass. Advice on that? Mids ran off rf t800.4 and horns off my DEH80prs

You need a spl meter and start testing at different tones with different things (door/window) open/closed and see what you get

I agree with Rick. 500 watts on each is going to be loud. No replacement for displacement...

I'd suggest that aq2200 as stated before as well, for your application
