It's going to be hard pressed to beat picking up wilwood stuff..it's priced fair considering the amount of time you will have in piecing your own together. The other thing you got to think about is will your calipers clear the inside of the rims with the larger rotors. You've got larger tires on the XJ right? I know my heep is a joke with stopping the 35's.

SX's always had a flat wound in them..still use the same coil today. I wouldn't suggest 1200 watts, it is really a 1000 watt sub because it has no cooling. Sorry but we do not ship shims, business cards, manilla folders work fine.

Speakers do not 'put out' wattage. They take electrical energy and convert it to acoustical output..or sound. For a 900 watt amp...look into a SSD with cooling. I would not pour money into a N2 when you do not need it.

You would want to select the HQTS option as it is optimized for sealed. It takes out extra material out of the inside of the motor to tame things down to make a bit more of a linear response instead of having a peak due to un-necessary motor force. 50Hz crossover point should be great and you should have no issues using your current enclosure. It should be significantly louder, and you will run out of surround before you bottom the woofer out .

We only use one coil in the SX recones ..you'll get the same thing.

I've definitely emailed you back because I remember saying that I do not know what the parameters will be. We do not take the time to read the parameters for a recone for another manufacture's equipment..the point of the recone is that it works and preforms well. The SX recone is made for the SX, it uses the original coil that was made for the SX. We would not sell a recone for it if it had to be sent in. Aside from that, we can not machine a motor once it has been magnetized.

Not true at all .... Magnet slugs are imported from overseas. SSA is proudly built in USA as are the Sundown sub woofers. Both great USA Based companies. id rather have just a part or two imported from overseas than just about everything from over seas (sundown) im very patriotic to our homeland here either sub u go with you wil be happy. but the zcon has my vote. it has proved itself to me what it can do and im very pleased If you only knew where voice coils, spiders, tinsel leads, cones and surrounds are manufactured. Right here..except the tinsels. No American company has the machinery or the ability to weave the wire properly.

On..Off..or otherwise. It HAS to be set 1-2Hz below tuning. Your excursion below tuning of the port goes up exponentially as you go farther below tuning. We can play the game that Rockford plays and put really short coils in really short gaps and kill the excursion..but then the bottom end will suffer greatly. We don't want to do that. It is not difficult to read and learn from ones mistakes. It's as simple as getting a proper filter..and setting it accordingly. Reading materials that you are given in the packaging and the sticker on the outside of the box would have prevented this from happening to begin with. If you put the Rockford woofers in the same scenario as the BL ill wage one glazed doughnut that the coils melt within a week.
