  1. No clue there, he probably has a XXX recone with the integrated lead suspension on it.. By full dustcap you mean it is dished like a bowl? Or is it a "Boob" style cap like we use on our subs?
  2. Looks good man!
  3. 3-7 business days to build, then they ship.
  4. 3-4 days to build it and ship it out.
  5. ~ 2 weeks or so.. You might want to recone it yourself.
  6. D2 is the universal gap.. You are good to go.
  7. Box stuff is below the specs on the website, I just never wrote a 'Tech' section for it. The same 12-16sq inches of vent area apply as always with our subs.
  8. I'd suggest purchasing the sub last...because you can customize it for generally whatever scenario you have going on..
  9. That..isn't going to sound good at all.
  10. it's a stair step gentleman.. the stock one is rated at 1000...options add from there
  11. Regardless..if you have stress marks around your surround you probably have popped holes/rips in the spiders radially at 12,3,6,9 oclock.. You didn't have your subsonic filter set right to roll things off properly...the screen printing on those amplifiers is a crap shoot at best because the variance in the potentiometers that they use can be as high as 20%..regardless of what anybody wants to say. The only way to set it properly is by verifying where the filter rolls off with a tone burst track on a bass CD...
  12. As far as I am concerned, until it's in your hands, the seller is responsible. I.e. if it never shows up, they need to take it as a loss and send another. No reputable company would leave you out in the cold because of a screw up before it ever hit your possession. And I'm pretty sure no judge would side with them if they did. UPS has to deal with it...and the OP hasn't replied back saying anything. We can talk to our rep..but until he files a claim there's nothing we can do.
  13. The cooling comes from the motor machining.. 1500 watts shouldn't be an issue as it'd be the same coil that the BTL uses provided it will fit in the gap...
  14. Not a great deal can be done, we'll use a High xmax style coil and integrated leads. What makes our subs different from everybody elses is the ton of machine work that goes on inside of everything. We simply can't add that to a motor that has already been magnetized.
  15. Take it out of the box and free air it at 20Hz and get it to full stroke and see if it still makes the noise.
  16. Can't use that basket. Ballpark figure on a recone is $100, the baskets are $32. You can either send it in to us or you can give us the dimensions of the top plate and we can build you a recone up...
  17. Wasting your time and money..and will end up with a dead sub. Don't do it ..just giving you fair warning.
  18. UPS drivers mess up occasionally...call UPS with your tracking number and ask them. Whatever address you entered on the website when you placed your order is the one that we put on the ticket...
  19. Reminds me of a leaky sealed box..
  20. The big question is can you fit a box that big in the truck?
  21. KU - that's at 4ohms at 100Hz. You never play 4ohms..or 100Hz with a subwoofer lol . What nobody understands is that a class a..or class a/b..or class D amplifier..is all right within 3-4% of each other in efficiency terms when they are all running wide open. You'll never see anything over 80%...just doesn't happen.
  22. You don't buy subs here first and then build around them... You pick up everything else first and then build around the sub accordingly...It's the difference in purchasing something that is just 'off the shelf' and gets a UPS label thrown on it, and something that is a truly totally custom built to order sub.
