I have owned 2 AP1500's and haven't had any issues at all. And to the AP vs APX; The Punisher Geo tried out the APX 3500.1 vs the AP3k and in just one show one of the APX 3500.1 took a dump. This may be very irrelevant but when I was running a second battery in my car; once I would go down the road the voltage at the 2nd batt would drop down into th 12's. If I turn on the air/headlights to put strain on the car it would jump back up to the 14's. Very weird. Think it could be something with the 2nd batt? Put the DMM on the positive wire that goes from your 1st batt to 2nd and use a different ground and see if it will read 14+.

Pull the HU out. Take a good know speaker and hook it directly from the back of the HU to one of your sets of speaker wires and see if it plays. Just to make sure there is not a short with the other ones. Check all the other wires too.

Ground? Does it completely cut off or just will not play music? Check fuses.

I tried Winzip and Bitser and have had no luck converting that .rar. It was only half the songs as well. Someone take all the songs and turn them into a simple .zip file ftw?

I didn't realize those subs liked to be tuned low? Keep me posted on how it performs once you put some more power on it.

Just hang in there. Quality takes time. If you wanted something instant; Go to eBay and get you something of half the quality.

Also look at it as how much you can sell your current amp for.
