  1. audiopipe 1500d is probably what he's talking about
  2. off putting... like calling their company power bastards? lol
  3. what size power wire are you running? are u using bass boost at the amp or hu?
  4. good job wit the deadening, personally i would have used slightly less on the roof, saving it for the trunk, rear deck, etc. irregardless its nice to see someone who's got the right idea with deadening and not going overboard like you usually see.
  5. in my trunk i just used velcro (hook side) on the bottom of the box. stuck to the carpet pretty well.. edit: just read your putting it in a Cherokee so skip the velcro.. nothing to stop box from flying around in that vehicle beside bolting that thing down
  6. afew sa-8's would pound. check the sundown section of the forum out. dcons would also be sweet
  7. looks like the magnets separated from the top plate... never seen that before
  8. anyone have a favorite fiberglass how to guide? plan is to do pods on my dash for my 3 inch fullrangers.. looking for a list of materials and basic instructions. this is my first time FG'ing so i plan to practice by replacing the sound deadening that i used to seal up the large access holes in my doors w/ fiberglass panels.
  9. so many buttons! good work sir
  10. it seems the mb quarts favor sealed boxes, ill boot up winisd later and see what thats about... i dont think we can do the 15, he is pretty set on just 12s. my concern with the audiopipes is that, from what i've read, is that they are really just spl subs... i havent really found a in depth review of them yet... that being said, they look pretty beastly but looks can be deceiving
  11. are these the ones your talking about?
  12. Don't mess with the pioneers, I've had those before they're decent but not earth shattering. Get a pair of these.... http://www.vminnovations.com/product_3203/Audiopipe_15_Inch_2000W_Subwoofer.html The ipipe is the same as the txx-apx's and those are known to be budget beasts, hit hard take their wattage and have 3 inch voice coils... Here are 4 audiopipe 15's with about 500 watts a piece starting to move hair. You would be running half the subs, but in a lot less space With more power..... SHOULD BE PRETTY SICK...... your link is broken

  14. thanks ill look in to them. i've also come across some mb quarts pwe either 12s or 15s. the 12s are 70 each and the 15s are 100 each... from what i've read they sound pretty nice, apparently they where based on an RF sub when RF owned mb quarts before they sold them... i hope i can talk him in to doing 15s.
  15. so far ive come up with is a pair of type Rrrrrs for 250 and these pioneer champion series subs Amazon.com: Pioneer TS-W3002D2 12 In. Champion Series PRO Subwoofer with 3500 Watts: Electronics thanks for the help il look into those AQ's aswell
  16. which? Sorry, didn't realize there was a 2nd page when I replied. I was referring to the SLS8 more than likely being better drivers than the RE. i thought that is what you meant, just wanted to make sure so i dont try swapping my sls8's out with the REs lol
  17. alright so we got the amp in but the subs are sold out. looking for a pair of 10's or 12's ( or 15's, i know i said he doesnt want 15s but if theres a good deal on them then why not snag them up). budget is 250. goals are mainly output but also decent sounding ill be designing and building the box aswell
  18. peerless sls 8 are 4in mounting depth or dayton rs 8" is suppose to do ok for midbass duty and is shallower at 3.5in both about 50 bucks i run the sls 8s in my doors, as do many others, pretty much everyone's answer to getting big midbass up front.
  19. what size xcon and how many?
  20. bump with a question. should i pay attention to magnitude transfer function? comparing different boxes, i notice that the transfer function is less peaking with the rsdc's sq specs vs a box tuned higher.
  21. welcome, how about you throw up a more detailed post in the general forum section to get an answer.
  22. you'll deff have better luck in forums. good luck with the sale
