3 idq 10s vs 1 icon 15
Whoever said Icons aren't musical obviously hasn't heard one. Just get the 15'' Icon and call it a day....I don't think you'll be dissapointed.

2.0 @ 38hz
I really like this one. The black carpet and orange logo makes for a real clean look to me.

10" brahma box specs
I'm not sure about mkI but I found this for MkII. It might help a little.

OOOOOOO the Havoc would be an excellent choice as well.

3 idq 10s vs 1 icon 15
Recommended size is from 2.25-2.75. I would start on the larger end of the spectrum if it were me. You can add blocks of wood to the inside of the enclosure to shrink it down or you can use polyfill to make the enclosure seem larger. But shoot for 2.75 right off the bat and then do those changes if you aren't satisfied.

12" ICON vs FI SSD
I absolutely love my icons. I listen to a broad range of music and they handle everything with ease.....with only 500 to each driver. I've never heard a SSD so I can't comment.

Audiopulse Epic 8" Enclosure Questions
Hmmm....those specs sound about right for a 10''. Seems a little big to me for an 8''.

1999 Ranger regular cab
Thanks...I think making a template out of cardboard like that and a jigsaw is as accurate as you're going to get without a router and a jasper jig. I need to invest in a router and a belt sander for my next box though.

I think it's an extended cab s-10....not too sure though either.

Rli-10 v. Rl-p12
Or check out this amp http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...showtopic=20214 Lots of power there.

Rli-10 v. Rl-p12
No worries though. Just wait for someone to sell one in the classifieds. Every once in a while Jacob (owner of Sundown) will have a blemished or used one for sale as well. Maybe you should send him a message and see if he has anything. His username is sundownz. Also, check out db-r electronics...they sometimes have refurbished ones for a great price.

Sundown amps are awesome...plus the customer service is top notch.

Blow-through in my bagged 95 fullsize chevy
Looks awesome man! I miss my '96 with the 5.7.

Rli-10 v. Rl-p12
I think either way you go you'll be happy. Why not get (2) Rl-p if you can afford it? I don't remember off the top of my head what the rms is, but I think a pair of those and a Sundown 1500d would be a good combo.

saz1500d and which woofers?
That's a better idea. Building your own sealed box isn't really that hard. Just make sure you use enough wood glue and use caulk on all the seems. Also, if you end up getting 2 at first and the third later on, make sure to divide each sub into it's own chamber. Or if you build a single chamber box, just be real careful with your gains because having 2 in a box intended for 3 will reduce their power handling due to the enclosure being larger.

SSA & CYV meet for Illinois
I go back to school the 20th. I can make a trip to Effingham and scope out some places? One day I made a trip to this car audio shop in Effingham to bullchit around and the guy ended up being real cool, maybe he can host it?

12" sub for ma audio hk802sx
Also, I'm sure you can find someone on this forum who lives close enough to you to give you a demo. That would be the best way to get a feel for how they perform.

12" sub for ma audio hk802sx
I think you should start reading all these threads on the "boutique" companies. Watch the videos and then decide if the price compliments the performance or not.

12" sub for ma audio hk802sx
What's your budget? You won't see many of the members here suggest any of the "mainstream" companies. But check out Fi, SSA, Sundown, Mach 5, Incriminator Audio, Ascendant Audio and Stereo Integrity. All of them make subs that will meet your goal, and many of the owners of those companies will be able to help you along the way with any questions that you have.
