  1. thanks everyone
  2. Haha....I saw all that coming
  3. ok thanks brynm.....do I just run it from the headunit to the mono and then just run one from the 2 channel and have it connect to the remote wire inside the mono?
  4. Am I going to need a run of remote wire to each amp from the headunit?
  5. you've really done some research and put a ton of planning into this....that's going to make it that much more enjoyable when you finish.
  6. i know this doesnt help you but i will be the proud owner of one soon...........if they will hurry up and ship it out already!
  7. agreed.....leave that amp for sure. you can also build your own box or have someone do it for you and you will get better results with your new purchase

    awesome score
  9. I'm not trying to get off topic but I'm sorry......are funky pup's any good or is this a running joke on here? Because I'm ignorant to them but I've seen them being referred to a few times here.
  10. great looking build and sweet setup
  11. Ok thanks, you've been a big help
  12. that is beautiful
  13. It does seem like it would be the easiest way to go. I'm not sure if I can fit both wires through my firewall yet but I'm sure it won't be a problem. Would a powermaster d1200 be enough battery for the 1500 run at 2 ohms and a 125x2 2 channel?
  14. that sounds like a great idea
  15. He means what size is the enclosure, sealed, ported, what tuning?
  16. I hope so.....I went way overboard with the caulk but thats because a couple pieces were not straight and I wanted to make sure I had a good seal. I have a bunch of buddies that go to SIU so next time I'm down there I'm going to have to let you know so I can hear and see some of your work....should be in September or October.
  17. port pictures
  18. I will be running a sundown 1500 and a 2 channel (not sure which one yet) off a stock alternator and a powermaster d1200. I already have 4 gauge ran from a previous instal with 80a inline fuse. 1) Can I just leave the existing 4 gauge and use that for the 2 channel and just run an additional fused 1/0 for the Sundown or is there an easier way to go about this? 2)Is it ok to run two fused power wires off the same battery? 3) If I have to get a distribution block, which one should I get? I heard Knukonceptz' are hard to work with. I already have a kicker 1/0 kit on the way but I don't think the distribution block in the kit will fit my needs. Thanks guys
  19. I forgot to ask, will a 34hz tuning still hit the "lows" in rap.
  20. This is good news for me too because I ordered a 10'' bl the other day and it will be in a box thats around 1.0@34 to 1.1@33 in a reg cab ranger
  21. Any idea on what size the box was and how much port area? And just one 10'' bl?

Ok thanks alot.....I just built my first box and I was looking for ideas on finishing it and painting it seems to be the best idea.

what type of paint do you use? do you have to put something on the mdf before applying the paint?
