  1. Good luck with your health issues, this awesome build will help keep you're mind off of it! Cheers
  2. Man looks like some job you got yourself into, Keep it up!
  3. Its pretty easy to use, use the wizard like he said to learn. Just enter the subs technical parameters, and it does everything else for ya
  4. I don't see a problem with that, strange choice though. I would usually see if I could fit them on or in the door somewhere.
  5. IBM Thinkpad's run forever
  6. For what hes using it for (Word Processing) 2GB of RAM should be fine
  7. If your talking about that black asphalt looking material, I would leave it on and go on top of it. When I deadened my trunk I removed it all and it made the process so much longer with much more labor, which was prob not worth it. Here's my log with pics if you want to compare material. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...showtopic=16639
  8. http://www.cardomain.com/MakeModel/Chrysler/300C Check it out, get a lot of good ideas from it.
  9. Let's see a vid, for real man.
  10. Thanks for sharing, I'm gonna check it out
  11. Yeah nice man, Like bigjon said, lets see some vids!
  12. Man, everyones an ass***e, I'm never letting anyone near my car again unless I'm there watching, as for the alt guy, you should have said what you were thinking to his face, what a bitch
  13. I'm sure you'll be happy with Secondskin's products, def a higher quality dampener, I did my trunk, rear deck and rear sides, when I have time I'm throwing the extra in my doors. I did one layer of Damplifier Pro on everything, and it worked real good, less layers, less labor is why I like it.
  14. Wow she does good work, I really like that Pink Floyd one
  15. Nice it's a 180amp alt? I would think it's prob gonna put out around 150-160. Let us know. Yeah sound deadening the trunk lid isn't gonna prevent cracking, but it could help lessen the vibration of the metal. Too much bass for a civic =P
  16. Read the build, he already did. Wish I could help, but I don't know anything about high output alternators. Sorry bro
  17. Would a single layer of Damplifier pro be enough to stop the majority of road noise/vibration? The more layers you do the better, after applying to a surface tap the area making sure your satisfied with how well it dampened. If not apply another layer to the area. If you really want to kill noise, add another product on top of the damplfier pro such as luxury liner.
  18. I can't imagine what that must sound like in person
  19. yeah my friends neighbor works on cars and scooters at home and welds. he wants me to build him an enclosure for his truck. so i'll talk to him about seeing if he can weld the weekspot. i was thinking of cutting out a portion of that area and welding thicker metal. but i have a feling that overall it won't help too much unless the entire trunk's metal is thick. Yeah, I would just weld the weak areas, even ones that haven't cracked yet.
  20. Hmm looking at the situation, I can't really think of anything you can do to reinforce it, adding something in between the trunk and the bar will add more height to the trunk lid, which wouldn't work cause you might have problems closing it then. Maybe add weld to the weak spots ?
  21. Like shizzon said, I would bring it to the dealer, might just be a computer problem that has nothing to do with your audio system. Should be covered under warranty.
