  1. is it one 8" or two... I thought you were hooking up two, maybe you have them wired incorrectly?
  2. Makes me wonder, if they loose stuff on purpose to deter you from following through with the claim
  3. Looks great, I'm sure it must sound great also
  4. Well, the problem is your sub stage. Its pretty big for you wanting SQ comps. You just need basic comps that will get loud. Anything SQ oriented isn't really made for "loud". Go here and pick something in your price range. http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseac...pdate+Selection
  5. lol i promised mark a complete build log and still waitting on dam fedex.. thummper is getting ahold of them again today they are supposed to inspect it and give some kind of refund andthen me n mark will repair it Heh, Hope that works out, then it will be a good deal lol
  6. 160.4 wow congrats on that one!
  7. Nice, and great choice on the HAT drivers What awg copper you use for the drivers?
  8. Haha yeah, listen to Rob, he knows all about it Good, Happy to see some more shade builds.. not many of them
  9. i like it, whats goin in it again?
  10. Looks excellent so far, and where did you get those +,- posts? there nice
  11. Enjoy your stay at S-S-A!
  12. What's the largest two wires you are able to fit in there?
  13. Does partsexpress carry the ones you use? Cause the ones I got were too long.
  14. Well my sub is a 12, and I tried it and it didn't work. But for his 15" bl it will work. All I am asking is, What is the regular way for fitting these wires.. The trick of the trade... Just use smaller wire? lol
  15. Like with my sub I wanted to use 8 awg. Two 8 awg wouldn't fit though, so I bought these http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.c...FTOKEN=76122037 But they stuck out over the subs inner cutout, so I couldn't even get the sub in the box after using those.. So I resulted in using 12awg =\
  16. Well fraying them down would defeat the purpose wouldn't it? Some of you didn't understand what I meant though. For example.. Where I circled is where two wires need to be fitted.
  17. Say you use 8 awg, How would you fit 2 8 awg into a terminal since you have to bridge them. Ex) 4 ohm dvc wiring at 2 ohm. Whats the most common way to fit the wire? Solder it together?
  18. I think you would get a little more output on the 8's plus they will sound good while doing it. If I was in your situation it would be the 8's
  19. Correct me if I am wrong, but if your crossing your front stage with your 9887, I think it calls for the tweets to be channels 3/4 and woofers to be 1/2. Just please double check before you turn anything on, cause you will blow your tweeters if its incorrect.
  20. Went to the Slipknot concert last night, all I can say is WOW it was really an awesome concert. Coheed and Cambria, and Trivium were there also. Here are some pics, enjoy
  21. Was looking on google for a car audio site where people actually knew what they were talking about... From there I learned a lot about audio in general. Thanks SSA
