so while i was looking at how much RE componets would cost i found a site that offers RE speakers. 6x9" 6" 6.5". so my question is would the RE speakers keep up better with 4 15" ssds then the kappas would? would be using the zxi-6410 to power them. the kappas i was looking at would be the 6"x9" 3 way, 6-1/2" 3-way, 5-1/4" 2-way. (one pair of each) if i decide to go with RE it would be the RE Audio (Resonant Engineering) RE 6x9 FR 6"x9" Full-Range Speakers looks like a 3way, 6" 2 way, 6.5" 2 way. (one pair of each) the price seems to be low compared to the kappa's but i know RE has a great name with audio. i was going to order the speakers at the end of the month. so any input is helpful. except for yelling at me... thats not helpful.

knukonceptz is imo the best wire you can get. post a build log, i'ld like to see the 18" install.... sounds interesting.

the last one i've seen used. when they were doing my stuff a while ago. its pretty sweet. seems like a great buy for 50$

after seeing some reviews on the audiopipes i was thinking about buying one to see what it really can do. but i wont buy from a dealer that don't have a decent warrenty or a authorized dealer. i saw some rickies electronics or something... the 30001d they said it was 15inches long... i keep getting these "dealers" with false information.

Circuit breakers are an option, but keep in mind that circuit breakers are acurate to an certain extent. once the breaker trips once, it is not as acurate from there on. I would prefer to do the math and get the correct ANL fuse for what I need. how do you go upon doing the math for that? *i'm horrible at math*

my mind keeps changing ever day while i'm trying to save on what amp to get. i know its going to be a sundown. but which one? i was leaning toward the 4500. but the used 3000's looked nice. now the 3500 seem to be offering a little more. so after looking, the 3500's do not have any fuses. i really dont like fuses because when i did, it kept blowing (it was a low amp like maybe 50 or so for the whole system, 3 1000w amps and a yellow top, after the stock battery). so i upgraded it to a 250amp monster fuse, worked perfect. i have seemed to have lost my fuse so someone said "Get a circuit breaker instead". just wondering whats your ideas on Fuses and on Circuit breakers.

as for the battery.. is there a reason you want a red top? if your going with optima go with a yellow or blue. blues and yellows are the same. except for the terminals.

this is going off topic, lol, but that's what i like about ASUS, DDR3-2000+ minimum and stable. I OCed a socket 775 before(my board actually) to over 1900MHz FSB one time and was stable for bout 2hrs at a time. I don't really know what the problem was at the time because the temps were too hot for 24\7 use. The board was only rated for 1333MHz FSB and OC stable to 1600MHz FSB, lol. I'm currently runnin it at 1772MHz FSB for almost a year without problems. Core voltage kinda high 1.32v but hey.. it's stable and runnin fine. When i tried to run it at 1.313v, the system would lock up one every 3 weeks in a perfect cycle. you got some OC skills

asus is great and all but they tend to be on the "cutting edge" and expensive. last asus i really used was the... let me think. Asus a7nx-deluxe? it was a awesome OC bored. Foxconn is my budget boards now.

power acoustiks are just cheaply made and they happen to be made in korea. i personally like foxconn motherboards.

when ever i tell someone about FI, Sundown, SSA, DD or ect... i simply tell them to youtube them. people love youtube.

i feel like i should say something nice about this company. i blew 1 of there 55001d amps and they took it back no problems sent me a brand new one (just had to pay shipping both ways). so 2 days ago i ended up blowing one of there 1600/4 amps. just called tech support to make sure what the alternating power/protect light ment. (it means its "toast"). the tech support was amazingly friendly and directed me to RA where they gave me a RA # no problem or saying that it was installer error. (which it was not). if it was not for their korean made cheapness i would HIGHLY recommend them. needless to say i'm still going to end up getting all sundown amps.

just a quick question, is it possible for a amp to be "too cold"?
