  4. Looks curved to me as well
  5. If your getting coil rub it failed mechanically and the motor shifter like said above, or you are pushing the sub beyond what the suspension can handle.

Last time I ran around a high school football game with an erection I got arrested... Hope things faired better for you
  8. Sorry...the lead came loose and I need a recone? No, a lead kit, Nick said it was $15 or so
  9. Sounds like the lead under the dustcap came loose, in that case the kit form Fi will fix it
  10. Now THAT is a good T/S parameter list.
  11. If you have the wire go for it, but it's not needed and unless you are actually pushing the limit of 1/0 gauge wire, which is rated for about 350 amps it's not needed
  12. Normal sized group 31 battery, like the Kinetik HC2400 and XS D3100
  13. Shortening the wire will not increase voltage, the best thing to do is to ad a length of fused wire from the front battery to the back battery in 1/0 or larger, link that to your battery in the rear, depending on the frame of your vehicle you might have to make one ground wire run or ground directly to the frame. Welding cable is your best bet for wire actually, a local store will normally sell it for about $2.50/foot for actual copper wire vs. copper clad aluminum wire.
  14. Actually the new cones are Titanium, but have the same problem if you beat them enough with 4K or so Looks loud Twisted
  15. The HCCA is it's low Fs due to a monster 4" coil, it's not a bad woofer but not the best option. I would pick a Mayhem as well, the DC woofers are based off Scott Atwell's designes at RE, the ones he has since improved and the technology is used by Fi/AA.
  16. I want mine! I'm jealous

  18. The copper coils actually don't have the power handling an aluminum coil has, but up until about 2K it doesn't matter, then aluminum takes over.
  19. It should be audible because the coil is now copper (standard) and isn't the new motor stronger? Also, I doubt they would build a new sub if it wasn't better, but I just want to know if it sounds better or if it is just built better. The copper coil does change things a bit yes, BL increases and Mms increases, comparing the new motor with the standard coil and the old motor with the copper coil option, things don;t change much.
