It's hard to sift through all the SPL rules of thumb and separate the facts form the BS, because there is a lot of both. The only way to find out what works for a specific vehicle is to test it yourself it seems, in most cases. It seems like you have quite a bit of knowledge on the subject, I encourage you to share.

Birdshot won't penitrate even the belly of a human. I have literally seen (yes my eyes in person) someone who took bordshot to the face from 10-15 feet away. He doesn't even have scars anymore from getting hit some 15 years ago. Even at 20 feet which is one heck of a wide room, buck doesn't spread that much, and bird is only good for birds and snakes. The 9 mm vs .45 argument is long and tired so I will digress but the point is that a moving target is SO HARD to hit. Unless they are coming directly at you, in handgun defense situations you get your sites lined up and squeeze at the center body of mass. As of right now, the hydrostatic shock factor from a .45 is greater than a 9mm. The 9mm will penitrate more. With modern JHP they both do good jobs. However in a situation where a dude is on meth, I would take the .45. If I need more than a few shots I should have brought a rifle. "Handguns are for fighting your way back to your rifle."

After using welding cable and Stinger stuff, I'll never, EVER, buy Stinger again. The Stinger is good, but I found the welding cable better, and at about 1/3 the price. Cha ching! More money to spend on booze and hookers

Have you done any testing to support your claim that grounding to the frame in a modern vehicle is equivalent to 4AWG?

Good smartphones and providers.
Actually you can put it on an iPhone 3g aswell just not the 3gs. the guides for the 3g should be out by now. and yes android is a great operating system but it needs to be customized to a certain degree in order to bring out its potential where as the iPhone OS is barely customizable and therefor its at its full potential minus apps and such. plus the new OS will mend some of the problems the original did i.e. multitasking. im not saying the iPhone is better but i think for someone who is clearly not inparticualarly tech savy the iPhone is a better choice, I agree there.

cool im going to buy 20 feet of 0 gauge and run my rockford fostgate 4 gauge as my big 3.. i decided what? if you're ordering wire anyways why not get a couple extra feet of 1/0? it doesn't take much...what car are you putting it in, how far is your bat. from the alt? um battery from alternator is a good 5 feet.. but dont i also have to ground on engine block and ground on chasis?? id probably have to get like 40 feet.. It does not take 20' or wire to do a big 3 upgrade.

Hello from Co
If you have to ask if they'll handle it, it's best not to try. If you have experience they will handle more than that.

The coils are fine. That's the DC resistance.- Would adding fans help?
It's not necessary at all, because the frame is grounded to the front battery. You have a giant "ground wire" already ran.
