Trust me ive been tring to sell them but no bites . People keep wanten to trade. Im not even putting a big price on my amps. i have a kicker750.1, kicker550.3 , 2 cadence xtr750.1d , and 2 alpine type r's. Im ready to sell everything and start over but use my head . Money really no big deal but i think selling sum to buy sum sound better . im really not interested in low end car audio . i like kicker , alpine , and cadence subs. id say i can do 200 for subs and 200 for an amp . I like 1 ohm deep bass , 2 subwoofers not 1 . And i do plan on doing the big three. So if you know of sum newer subs of sum dope subs that would be great info, same with the amp . But if i sell sum of this car audio then i can spend more . thanks for the info Ohm load does not depict frequency.

My trunk is 19" inches and 36"wide you think 15" woofers could fit?would the sound be that much bigger between the two sizes? How deep is it? Of how deep are you willing to go? Choose the size of woofer based on the enclosure, I chose 12" woofers because their enclosure was the largest that would fit in my trunk. its 54" inches long You have about 18 ft.3 gross to work with, 15's would work well as they Nightshades slightly smaller enclosures, you wouldn't utilize your entire trunk leaving room for batteries and amplifiers.

Don't pay ANY attention to the THD on a subwoofer amplifier. You will not notice a difference. Sundown amplifiers produce more than rated power, they are rock solid, and Jacob provides excellent customer service.

The differences are how they will perform in a given environment. The XCON performs well in low tuned SQ oriented applications, where the Nightshade is more of a balls out loud woofer. I own Nightshades and they perform very well, I also want to try the XCONs though. Most rap bass lines are between 35-45 Hz. which is where the Nightshades perform very well. The XCONs like to be tuned between 27-33 Hz. what are you running on your nightshades? Yeah sorry about that diagram I wasn't sure how else to do it with MS Paint. But yes the left side of each coil/box is supposed to be the + terminal. I'm headed back to school on sunday where I won't have my car but come summer I'll definitely upgrade to 1/0 and more likely than not a new box. Sundownz- what size enclosure would you recommend after all displacements for a new box? The current box is ~2.3ft^3 after port, sub and bracing. The BL is supposed to bridge the gap between the BTL and the Q so I'm guessing it would perform best in a more spl oriented enclosure, tuned closer to 35 hz maybe? Sundownz is the owner of Sudown Audio and is not associated with Fi, Fi recommends 1.5 Ft3 to 2.5 Ft3 per 12" BL.

A subwoofer will play anything, the only factor that changes is volume. You cannot hear anything below ~20 hz.

Make correct grounds, the factory ground always sucks, as well as the seatbelt. Will try that... Curious: how come it worked with my old amp? The ground probably shifted. That's what happened when I replaced my old HU, when I pulled out the old one the ground adjusted and I didn't check it so my new HU popped.
