i hooked up extactly from massive's mx 15 subwoofer's manual book as 1ohm.. it seems working it was confusing on first more i get understandable it.. its pretty bombass subwoofer. my amp is way underratted lol Hifonics, under rated?

Thanks Duran, I might have to go with BTL's then as they are good up to 3 cubes about the best I have found that can work in the box I now have... That is just what Jake recommends. Bigger boxes are more efficient, that means louder.

I had been trying to do some research on the DCON but not too many people seem to have posted any reviews on it. I guess the lack of reviews is due to it being fairly new. How well do they hang on the low end???? That would be because they just shipped out to customers lase week.

It never was "free" shipping, it was just the average shipping cost added to the woofer. The price it shows you is the actual woofer cost.

The only Massive sub that looks somewhat promising is the DMX line.

Theoretically, an 18" will have "better" sound quality than an 8".

With impedance and box rise you will be over 2 ohms. 1.6 is only nominal, you will almost never get that low.

not a real woofer (LVL6) it's photoshop'ed.. I'd think the LVL5 10's are more for show than anything..... I've yet to hear any dc woofers though.. I know

I'd agree with that with most of the "monster" subs out there, but this claims to have 60mm of Xmax, and have a sensitivity of 101db..... There is no way to be sure they aren't lying to sell product. You also can't base a woofers quality on two numbers.

A "monster" motor doesn't mean loud, with most brands it is wasted Ferite. I'm not a fan of Massive.
