  1. Welcome.
  2. Listen, he has very extensive knowledge when your talking subs

    Fuck. No more girlfriend.
  4. The "breast" you had?
  5. It is probably unloading. Overexcursion is causing the coil to hit the back plate. That will shatter your coil in no time. I don't see why though considering you are tuned to 32 Hz. are you positive on the tuning?
  6. I can wait 4 months, I might have some custom Crossfire XS 10's built for me for $225 each, they will take twice that power too! I did the wrong link to the box though, I was thinking this one:http: //www.decware.com/newsite/invertedwedge.htm , or the one I mentioned before. Can anyone tell me their opinion on the Decwares boxes? What really makes it an SQ box? I have heard the wicked One in person, and it got VERY loud. If you are going to spend that kinda $ get the X_CONS Wow this is an old threat I now have Nightshade 12's.
  7. Is the sub still working?
  8. Power will take th path of least resistance. Don't do it.
  9. Birthsheets mean completely nothing. Bladeice is a member on here, give it a try. Most 1/0 gauge is the same, welding cable is just as good. thats what I'm using really? Birthsheets mean nothing? How so? An amplifier is made on an assembly line, lets say 200 are made in one run. They pick one to test, they will test it at 14.4 volts (most cars cannot even et close to 14.4) and then print the birthsheets for those 200 amps. wow thats as gay as it can possibly be...... So the only real way to find out is to use a clamp or something? Exactly.

Ever wonder why Sundown doesn't? Because Jake won't mislead you my printing an absurd number on a piece of paper and saying it will put out that much power in your car.
  11. We need more info to help you, whats your amp, electrical, enclosure.

  14. It won't matter for a sub amp. Point is they lie they feed bs into the car audio world. And that box design looks good. I knew what you were getting at, I was just putting it out there.
  15. It won't matter for a sub amp.
  16. What do you guys think?
  17. wow GREAT CHOICE ON AMP!! im guessing he thinks it puts out 5500 huh? I highly doubt that amp will even produce 2000 It is rated for 3200 at 1 ohm.
  18. Alpine, Kicker, or Sundown will do you right. All three will give underrated power and a clean signal, they are similarly priced, but Jake will take care of you if you should have any problems with the amp. Sundown gets my vote too.
  19. There is no need to reverse polarity in a common chamber.

    Welcome!
  21. Looks sick, throw that on a meter!
  22. I told him he will need too, but he doesn't have anything set in stone.
  23. I need to finish my front stage, my tweeter sails are still not done, damn cold weather. If it warms up somewhat I will finish the sails and assemble my back seat and finally mount my SAX-100.4. I got some glass matte and bodyfiller to finish up the last little bit. The "friend" is getting a Power Acoustik BAMF5500D
