No chit.... Tech fans have a reputation for tearing their own stadium up. That's a cool way to raise tuition... I'm pretty sure with the 8-10 times that #1/#2 got beat last year the field was never stormed. Storming the field is something chitty teams do when they know it will be impossible for them to achieve more, maybe their smarter than I thought? My city is home to the 8th biggest sports rivalry in the US, I attend one of the rival high schools. The rivalry started when my school was built and we started sharing the stadium with Idaho Falls High School and the winner of the game, called the Emotion Bowl, paints the goal posts their school colors, sadly they have been orange for the past 2 years, no blue this year 8th biggest? How are these ranked. Percentage of the cities population that goes to the game.
  2. more wire, better current flow. and sometimes its hard to get 2+/0, so more runs of 1/0 will do the same, How do you know if you need more than 1 run of 1/0 gauge? Does anyone know the max each wire can conduct, or does that purely depend on the wire? Is there a rough estimate? Like 4000 watts can transfer through 1/0 or something like that? 10' of 1/0 Gauge is "only" 350 amps I believe.
  3. Okay, I have made up my mind. I would rather have 2 12"s in the maximum enclosure possible vs. 2 15"s in an enclosure that is too small. 2 12"s it is!
  4. What happens when one driver fails in a common chamber?? might just turn the sub into a passive radiator. Then why the hell are you asking? im not askin about failure of a woofer, i asked why one design was better than another Oh, okay!
  5. I'm still waiting Derrick! I want my amps...

  7. Oh man and you were doing so well to. You know I cant answer that to many variables. I can tell you that I'm not to big on SPL numbers but from what I heard 150 is quite a feat to accomplish and takes quite a bit of testing and tuning on top of all that Ive heard it is even more difficult in a trunk car. I can give you a little help on switching you to another person and that would be stratusrt01. He has an account here but hasn't been on in awhile but is a mod over on ROE and ive seen him on there lately. I know he has done extensive testing with his 01 stratus RT and may be able to point you in the right direction. Yes, I realize that is almost impossible to answer, I'm just getting tired of changing ideas so much. You have no Idea how frustrated I am with this stuff. Thanks for the tip. I sent him a message, lets hope he gets it!
  8. Why is that? With reversed polarity?
  9. Separate them if you are running sealed.
  10. I'm in a bit of a pickle. I have big dreams of breaking 150 dB with this, as I said, amp is a Sundown SAZ 3000D at 1 ohm, do you think its possible with 12"s?
  11. It's very real.
  12. HAHA, me too. I'm still waiting for me new SAX 100.4, c'mon factory!!!!
  13. It is rated 2000 watts RMS at 1 ohm!
  14. Have you taken a 15" SSD into consideration?

  16. I haven't had them but I hear they are good drivers, they get pretty hot though.
  17. Fill us in.
  18. We would all love to help you! Just calm down a little, be patient. Also, please stop making so many threads.
  19. GET THE 2 BL'S MAN! THEY WILL BE CRAZY LOUD MAN! YOU WILL HAVE TO SHOUT TO TALK TO PEOPLE IN THERE! <---Now how dumb did that sound? How can we take you seriously if you are shouting over the internet?
  20. Well since I can't fit 15"s, could we tweak the box for an 18"? Like a BTL, I think $499 is more affordable anyways. 5-9 cubes.
  21. Well I'm just getting technical on you. LOL
  22. Slim subs are meant to be smaller to conserve space, ie small sealed boxes. NO PORTED!

That's what I meant in my above post. I wasn't doubting you . He just asked again as if he either missed it or didn't understand. Yeah I was saying that cause I didn't think stuartgoodenough read my post.
