Do you have them in the same box as the BL's? yes same box same amp same everything.. and i tryed the nightshades with the same cells i had when i played the bls.... but right after that i hooked out all 5 cells and let the power FLOW> Oh, so you went from 3 cells to 5 cells? Was there a difference when you had the same number of cells?

Why don't you figure it out? The JL's have 240 sq. in. of cone area, and the Treo's have 113 sq. in. I am not aware of the efficiency of either drivers, so i cannot tell you which will be louder.

CVX's are far superior to L5's. I think they should change the names of the L5 and L7 to "Mechanical Failure", it is a very fitting name. The CVX is the EXACT same woofer as the L7, but in a round form But I prefer to stay away from the mainstream brands, I would go with Ascendant

If you still want to be able to hear don't get BTL's, that will me a MAJOR strain on your electrical system, which will need to be upgraded anyways. Also, Hifonics would not be the best move, they aren't the most reliable amps in the out there. I'm going to be just like EVERYONE on this forum and recommend Sundown. But you want quality, so I think the Fi Q or BL is in your range, maybe the SSD. The Q is more SQ oriented, and the BL is more SPL oriented and the SSD is just under the Q in power handling, but not by much. Both can swing either way, because that is a very enclosure dependent question. If you want to upgrade your sub stage and still hear your lyrics, you will need to upgrade your front stage too(components).
