Need help choosing a subwoofer
The enclosure will play the biggest part, throw them in an ordinary ported enclosure and yes they will peak, but they will peak around tuning where normal woofers do. A 6th order or a horn can really smooth out response, taking resonant cabin frequency into account it can be a very good loudspeaker. Specification wise, they are the least musical, when compared to the N1 and N2.

Knu's OFC vs CCA
Or OFC welding cable, for the same price of CCA car audio cable.

IAK needs an "IHOP"
Ouch, that's a tough fix. Looks like the magnet came unglued form the top plate? A high strength epoxy is needed, the hard part though is aligning it correctly. I'd consider it a manufacturer defect, try to get a hold of them.

Get your post count, and sell it here as BNIB, it should go quickly.- Please identify!!
They do/did write on the magnets to identify. It does look like it was a BL, and someone wrote over it to read BTL. You can tell because it's not even the same kind of permanent marker.- AA Mayhem 18" re-cone to change impedance
I know, but Fi has an option on their subs that allows you to change the impedance in the future. Do they build their AA Mayhems the same, universal or permanent impedance? I'm 90% sure they machine the motors to accept D1 and D2 impedance, we'll let Nick chime in.- Difference between Nightshade and Z v3?
The Nightshade can handle more power, and has more linear displacement capabilities, in theory it is more loud.- AA Mayhem 18" re-cone to change impedance
Fi makes the Mayhem, AA is Fi, Fi is AA.- Welcome to the IHoP
I completely, although a 'Busa would be way too much for me at this point, I'm just average size, and have no need for 200+ MPH at the moment completely ?? And yes it(busa) is a big bike. I'm 6'2 though and I like to take the wife. It's amazingly comfortable to ride though. I'm too old for twisties now. I don't care about the top speed as much as I do the acceleration. The bigger grunt on it would be nice when with the W. The only defense on a bike is the ability to scream out of danger areas. I actually get really nervous on choppers and lower power bikes because either the ergonomics are not condusive to controling in a panic, or they can't pull me past some drunk on the road fast enough. Looks like I forgot the word "agree" Having the power to speed out of a bad situation is definitely a must- Welcome to the IHoP

I played with mine in 8 cubes, 100 square inches of vent, tuned to 32, it peaked at 31 Hz.- Daily Nightshade 18''

What's that all about? Family problems that just need to end. They recently have acquired a lot of free time and have nothing better to do than annoy the shit out of me by every means possible. One of the reasons I live alone. Me aswell- 4 SA-15/SAZ3500d Walled GMC Sierra
Stealth has always preached the 'xx square inches of port area per cube' thing, I've had "discussions" with him about it to no avail.- N3's playing some music.
Nice! My N3 sounds great.- New to the forum and Car Audio in general
