Amp instalation questions. (supplies needed, etc...) help needed along
So if I were to run t bridged, then I would be ok as long as im gentle on the gain? Exactly, but if you are worried or don't know what your doing, then don't take the chance by bridging them.

Welcome to the IHoP
The problem occurs when people just put HID bulbs in halogen cases, they need projectors in order to not blind people

It's RATED to be double RMS if you bridge, you have a lot of control over how much power the speakers actually see.

how much for a new dustcap?
The dustcap attaches to the very edge of the cone, by where the surround attaches to the cone, scuff exactly where the dustcap falls on the cone

Stetsom 1k5h test
It's got to cool somehow, with as small and as powerful as they are they NEED a push-pull airflow system.

how much for a new dustcap?
Peel it back with a razor blade, scuff up where the dustcap and cone meet, and glue the new one on with superglue or epoxy.

15inch memphis mojo vs fi???
The SSD is build to be a tough daily driving woofer above entry level like the X. They are no longer on back order, Fi got the magnets in.

RCAs
Noise issues are directly related to a bad ground.

Which battery for this car?
S3400 is the highest powered battery that will fit? Is there any chance a D3100 can fit? D3100's are HUGE.

Signs of a bad amplifier ground?
I have a strong feeling it was the sub burning, not the amplifiers.

cheap sub parts supplier
Exactly, it kinda defeats the purpose of your "cheap" sub parts supplier. If they are American made woofers, email Nick at Fi, he can probably get everything you'll need.

My cars peak (Hz)
You need to seal your woofer, get a meter, and run a few sweeps to find the resonant frequency, then build a ported enclosure about 5 Hz. below your resonant frequency, and adjust your SSF accordingly so you don't unload your woofer. Also, your ears are NOT a meter, loud to your ears is very different than loud to a meter.

Amp stable @ 1 ohm or 2 ohms?
Just to clarify, you are reading the Direct Current Resistance(DCR) of your coils, they are in fact D1 coils.

RCAs
Is this a serious thread? I don't see a question there... Buying expensive RCA's and remote wire will have NO effect on system performance.

Could an Xcon take 3000 daily?
Not many woofers can take 3Kw daily, burping is a different story, but it's easy so smoke even a BTL on that kind of power if you don't know what your doing.

Why are you a Port Whore? I like large gaping holes in enclosures I follow Vance Dickasons enclosure formulas, which disproved the 12-162" rule of thumb pretty darn often, I hate that rule, lol

- 2 JL AUDIO 1000/1 V2 and BTL what to do!
It really will be fine, no o-scope needed, a little gain matching and he's golden. BTL's handle huge amounts of power. They will be reading a 1.7 ohm DCR per amplifier, and since they aren't strapped the amps won't go into protect, they are also Slash series amplifiers they will deliver 1 Kw between 1.5 and 4 ohms I was refering to the BTL's ... not the amps ... Well it's just one woofer, and the same amp on each coil, with a DCR of ~1.7/coil and gain matching, it will see the same power. - 2 JL AUDIO 1000/1 V2 and BTL what to do!
