So you want to keep your voltage up you would need to put a bigger battery bank in... But like said before 13.2 on a full tilt is not bad at all...

Yes you can wire the subs into a 2 ohm load...

Hey Chop, That box looks great and those 18's are going to hit like crazy in that little Dodge.... As for me I just fined tuned my 15 and amp yesterday and it is crushing the little Kia....

Put up a pic if possible and the wires are red and black right???? Is there one set of wires or two????

Yea seems that we are not talking as much as we did a couple weeks... But we will being talking again very soon....

So, today I started my big 3 .... This is what I ran into I was looking at my ground and it goes down 8 inches and grounds to the battery pan.. then from there goes down 10 more inches and grounds to the body of the car... this and all is looking to be maybe 8 gauge or 10 gauge wire..... So I got it upgraded to o gauge on the ground now and I will be working on the power wire next....

I would go with the dcon's.....

So tonight I put my 15 in my old box.... All I have to say is holy crap I'm running about 650 to 750 rms to it .... The sub seems to be as loud as my old 15 on this small amount of power... I can't wait to upgrade my electrical and do my big 3 and triple the power to 2100 rms and see what this suck can do....

The 3/4 inch MDF is all I have ever used myself for the 3 boxes I have built.... Going to build a new one soon enough and it will be with the 3/4 inch MDF.....

Those crossfires look like some beasts and I'm watching this build for sure.....

Alpine is a good product... But for the money I would go with a sundown amp any day over Alpine... If something goes wrong with the Alpine customer service is not going to be as good as Jacob of sundown... Hands down a sundown just my 2 cents....
