I emailed Fi a month or two ago about the new dustcap colors. I would possibly buy a 10" in the near future if they would get their sh!t together and email me back. Maybe they'll read their "official" forum section of the internet from time to time and respond. Anyone had any luck getting pics of the new dustcaps?

The Xcon is in a different class than the Q. The Q is in the same class with the Icon, among other subs. If you want some thing that's Fi related in the class of the xcon, find a dealer and, get a Ascendant Audio Havok. I have an Icon and love it, truth be told I would of bought a Q and a Cadence amp if there hadn't of been a package deal with an Icon and a Sundown amp. If I had the $ to spend out of the two, I'd pick the Xcon, your going to have to upgrade your electrical. You'll be happy either way.

Going to see what I think about my 12 in my 300zx. Going from a galant (sedan with a trunk) to a sports car with a hatch. May trade, sell, or recone my sub to get a 10 to keep more hatch space.

I have a Icon 12, but now I have a sports car with a hatch instead of a sedan with a trunk. I'm thinking about trading it, selling it, or having it reconed to a 10. Any way I could send it to you over at Ssa and have it reconed to a 10? Going to put my box in my 300zx next weekend and see how that works out.

When you own damn near as many nonworking amps as you do working amps with the intention on learning how to fix them (I'm really considereing an EE degree).

I'm running an eclipse 7100 in an active setup. It annoys the chit out of me that amongst all these expensive hu's every one of them is a compromise. My 7100 is great, but the ipod interface and the track display leave alot to be desired. Before I went active I wandered into a local shop hoping to have a look at the display on a 7200 to determine how big a deal the sun washout is. They didn't have one and when he called his guy on it and asked about it he did a double take and made sure it wasn't a touch screen($$$). This is a niche market and all, but for the $ I'd figure they'd be able to get it right. Without spending F1 money is there any touch screens on the market that will work as an active hu?

My eclipse 7100 only has even numbers going up to 80. Although on my alpine I was kind of weird about keeping it on even numbers.

I don't have a billion posts, but I will say that I'm happy with my sundown 1000. Solid company, good people, and the people are really accessible. Jacob posts on alot of forums, I haven't had to deal with him yet (solid product), but every time I have seen someone deal with him on a forum he has been straight forward and helpful.
