  1. what was the subs impedence rise to when you tested it
  2. i would sell the 500/1 but i wouldnt get the 1000/1 id look into a saz1500d and a fi bl or a dc lvl4xl or a sundown nightshade. the 1000/1 is over priced and any one of those three subs would work well for you with the saz1500d.

amp is rated at 3200wrms @ 1ohm costs under $300 and has weak internals. id love to see what it can really do lol
  4. what are you looking for in a system just loud. if so a pair of bl12's loaded in a custom ported box run on a saz 3000d will get loud i would also suggest getting a decent headunit comps and comp amp
  5. what class ss3-4
  6. considering its for home use i would make the box bigger and tune around 30hz for ht use i would tune around 20hz. the box suggesttions are based on in car use.

what does your electrical look like
  8. is the box just for music or home theatre
  9. sat and sun 9am to 10pm
  10. they are being broadcast now
  11. 2 15's in a trunk is hard to do ported unless you have a large trunk like bigjon. ive competed a lot and have found that people who put large ported boxes in trunks have a hard time getting the bass to travel around the box and into the cabin. i would recommend 2 12 bl's with the audioque. the orion puts out only 1200wrms @ 1ohm the audioque does 2200wrms @ 1ohm
  12. look in the for sale section i think there is a saz3000d in there for 750. the saz will do over 3k and the pb will do a little less than 3k as far as reliability you cant go wrong with the saz. just keep an eye on the for sale section

    d2 parallel=1ohm series 4ohm d4parallel=2ohm series 8ohm if you want two subs d2 in parallel=.5ohm series/parallel=2ohm series=8ohm d4parallel=1ohm series/parallel=4ohm series=16ohm
  14. look into the cadence cvl-6k's you can get them for around 200 for the set. they get crazy loud and sound decent there sensitivity is 95db and can handle 200wrms they have a 3in vc and ferro fluid filled silk dome tweets. i have the 5.25 and i love them
  15. with size and considering its temporary id go with a single 12. as far as box goes i wouldnt run it into cabin unless you completly seal off the trunk.
  16. lanzar sucks but the opti line is decent there are a few other companys using the same boards as the opti's for the money its not bad better than a hifonic bxi2006
  17. it claims .5ohm stability test that to. it doesnt give a power rating for .5ohm though so try testing that. for a thousand dollars if it does close to rated power and is decently reliable it would make a nice comp amp. it also doesnt tell if its ratings are at 17v or 14v im guessing 17 but i would like actual for both.
  18. depending on sub id try something in between. what sub is it
  19. you should still be able to do better than a 146.1 with an 18 and 4kwrms. i can do a 145.3 with a q18 and 1800w. i think if you build a couple new boxes you should be able to get it around 149 or so you just need to find the right alignment for it. try a sub up port back, sub up port to side and sub forward port up also try rotating your box all around and turn it all diffrent angles you will get it to jump a little somewhere.
  20. two totally diffrent setups what are your goals
