Bit of a struggle with the new family dynamic. I never dreamed the hardest thing to date is being without my kids everyday. My friend, I help him when he needs it. That knife was hand hammered. About 10 hours worth. Making damascus is a 2 man job without the power hammer.

First kitchen knife and first damasus, made from 1095 and 15n20 steel. Lots of hammer swinging on that piece. Once the power hammer is up and running it should go much quicker for him.
