  2. it amazes me that ppl dont know about these batteries http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/detail/SSB5/315/N2493.oap?ck=Search_N2493_-1_1888&pt=N2493&ppt=C2389
  3. wait did u just say i was right
  4. I would mention distortion here, but since they are CEA certified i guess i would have to give a pass, although testing of amplifier power is still pretty subjective in my opinion.
  5. I thought it meant Baldies? lol
  6. now when r u gonna go surgical and make that blowthrough happen lol
  7. not exactly 12 inches high lol. Also sub and port back would work better, unless you have seats that go down directly into the cabin, then sub and port forward would be better. In my town car there was this big ass hump where the gas tank was. I would say go out and measure how much room you actually have, im sure your trunk is more than a foot high.
  8. http://www.soundsolu...701-cut-sheets/ 3.9 cubic feet @ 32Hz 3.8 cubic feet @ 32Hz 3.5 cubic feet @ 32Hz 3.2 cubic feet @ 32Hz Whoops forgot to add the front view pics, their all on that link tho.
  9. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/159534-new-smd-sub/ 5000rms just my guess but i bet it takes alot to get that thing moving in the first place.
  10. 42$ for 50ft where was this at?
  11. turn ur phone off completely and turn it back on.. when i plug my iphone in you cant use it from your phone unless you hit a button on the radio that lets you control it remotely. idk about the cutting off deal, but my pioneer 3200 or whatever the model is when it starts actin up i just restart my phone and it works.
  12. take the sub out of the box and hook it up and see if you still hear the noise. Only way the enclosure if going to make noise is if something is in it or its falling apart.
  13. 32.7" x 14.6" x 19.7" =9405.174 9405.174/1728=5.44 cuft but if you account for the .75 thickness its gives you 4.30cuft so if those are internal it would be 5.44 and i get 9.23 on both charts
  14. http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/boxcalcs.asp http://www.mobileinformationlabs.com/HowTo-1Woofer-Box-CAL%20Port%20lenth%201.htm 4.30481 cuft so i got between 13.45" and 12.44"
  15. just off the top of my head, the charging rate should vary depending on how charged the batt is and what u have running. A pcm based system is alot smarter than the old excite type alternators. I wouldn't worry about it honestly, http://blog.dcpoweri...ternators-work/ and
  16. but theres nothing wrong wt that voltage honestly. why do u want it lower? nope
  17. if it doesnt have an external regulator u could wire something up. if ur pcm controls it then u cant.
  18. lmao can u say blown out^^^^ And yes 1k is ridiculous when i have bought the same amps for half the price just because i knew someone. I mean retail i could imagine paying that much but used online smh. its just like rims and motorcycles, ppl trying to sell thier 1990 gsxr for 3000$ smh or 2000$ for some rims when you can find them for 500$. Im not saying that they aren't worth it but if i can shop around and save 75% why not. Oh yea...Found a bracket on smd for 75$, retail yea 300$
  19. I like sealed enclosures
  20. im just not a fan of all these mainstream companies most times, but in the end a watt is a watt
  21. djjdnap replied to djjdnap's topic in Off Topic
its just another standard they're trying to implement for car audio. Since there are really no standards that companies must follow. The first one was cea certified amps, now i guess it will be klippel subs.
  22. man that was some fast building. Sorry to hear about the amp. Its plenty of amps for sale on caraudio.com and smd.com, not to mention a few on here as well.
