That enclosure is for the 2007 Classics which still have the 2003-06 body styles. He has the new body style truck (07 present)

Just because your amp is rated for a certain amount of power doesn't mean you have to send the sub that much power. So I adjust the amount of power going to the sub by adjusting my gains, or is there another method volume knob x2

Bandpass? If its a pre-fab, (which I am assuming) that would be your problem.

My guess is that its a GMC or Chevy extended cab. 99-02 model that had that center console sub in the pics.
