i like L brackets personally and i use torx also due to the same theft thing, pretty soon people are just oging to carry around a torx screw driverlol

my fisrt concern is hifonics, i would go with something more like the sundown 1200 or maybe even a rockford amp

and and on the trminal problem, you could strip both wires down a little bit you plan on putting in there and solder them together
