Yeah I would be perfectly happy with a 1500D but I was going to preorder a 2000D. If it couldn't handle all the power I'd just turn it down some.

Is active really hard to set up? I'm in the market for exactly that but am not too knowledgable at all. I was thinking of just getting a 100.2 and those pg rsd6.5s.

You could get a plan with alltel. Cheaper than verizon but it is actually verizon now that they bought them out so you can talk to people with verizon for free and in the fall or around there there will become one and you keep your existing plan price from alltel.

The PG RSD6.5 components are supposed to be a real good bang for the buck set...can be found for $80 shipped on eBay

They have exceeded my expectations. I am so impressed that as soon as I can I am going to buy two more for my truck. wow that's good news. well seems like a 2000D is a perfect match for one of them. Now I just need to see a comparison from someone between a Z15 and a XCON 15 when they release. Seems like that's what it's down to for me.

Dang that's what I am shooting for, making this tough for me I was going to go XCON but these have me interested as well.

From what I have read the Havoc slightly edges out the Q but not by much. So you basically have to figure out what your goals are and it's pretty similar to the recent BL vs Q threads that have been popping up

Jacob was/is seeing how much interest there is in the 2000d and there is quite a bit, I would say it could open up sometime within the next week or two, you could ask him. Yeah I think it is too much for a BL but you can run it so not the full power is going to the sub. I would look into it just because its a good deal and will allow you some overhead for if you want to upgrade or even add another sub. I know I am going to get a 2000d just because of the aforementioned reasons even though I may not need all the power. May run a xcon, 2 icons or something else. Oh also I believe he said the amps would arrive in early June...can't quite remember though.

this review doesn't even compare how well they deaden the car, just which is thicker and holds up after being taken off, which doesn't make sense since you wouldn't ever take it out. i've never used a product like this but will need to soon so can't bash either all I know is damplifier is considered the best and edead is considered to be horrible..

You might want to consider a SAZ-2000D. I see the 1500D is $400 at db-r, if the presale starts up for the 2000d the price will be 425 shipped. Worth thinking about for 25 bucks more and it's brand new too. I believe Chris at db-r offers a 1 year warranty on his refurbished amplifiers and they will perform just as good as new.

From the Fi website Sealed box: 4-8 cuft Ported box: 6-10 cuft @ 28Hz Pretty broad though so I would just find different setups that people with the Q18 have and check out their box size.

Seems to be a lot of interest in the 2000d on here and other forums as well.

I have yet to do the big 3 but I have yet to find out how to wire up a battery in the back. Anyone know if you would run a second run of 0 gauge to the back from the alt or from the battery ? And how you wire that to the amp?

In reference to Q vs BL I think the BL is more suited to your expectations but i don't think you would be disappointed with either.
