Deadener Coming to the Jeep
mine was a small HB that was braced well.. so guess there's a big difference there... My roof was pretty crazy when it was all done.. dead as a rock.. you could beat on it and nothin'... I also glued .5" carpet padding to the roof (the automotive type that you'd find in your car) to keep the liner from rattling against the roof itself. I miss that quiet little car (quiet rattle wise)... with the windows up you'd never guess the stereo was anything to be impressed about

Deadener Coming to the Jeep
Your peak freq may change after all is said and done.. Mine changed about 2hz after it was all done... mine was a little more excessive than what you're planning on though.

Deadener Coming to the Jeep
now that doesn't coun't unless you put all the panels back in every time did you test prior to removing all the interior?

Deadener Coming to the Jeep
I'm scared to deaden after the first time... If I do, I'll deaden before I do any testing that way I'll never know... Not to mention, everyone was bummed when my car no-longer sounded like it was going to fall apart It hurt to be outside from the rattles.. sounded like it was WAY louder than 150's my new civic hb is about the same..

Deadener Coming to the Jeep
I lost almost a full db after I deadened my civic. With the same system it was pretty much a full db down afterwards... I was able to get louder later but I used different equipment..... made for a much quieter ride and not to mention it helped out the heating and cooling (you could heat that thing with a match ).. I foamed the whole rear compartment, added stainless steel panels to the "skeleton" to hold the foam and did three layers of 80mil deadener everywhere... other than just one layer on the stainless... at 150+db nothing on that car rattled at all... other than the front wipers..

come on now you asked for the pics... The shell is ok... not the best, it is a leer though... I don't like the way it fits the truck.. it rubs the cab slightly.. not certain that it's the proper shell for this truck.. I've got some break work to do then I'm gutting it good progress so far.. how do you like the sundown amp over the kicker...??

Looking for solid amp for a good price!
the ZX1000.1 not strappable.. they're selling b-stock amps and woofers-It's kickers outlet to get rid of their b-stock items.. I picked one up a couple weeks ago and it's stamped "built with remanufactured and refurbished parts" they're assembled in a different locations as well.. My amp worked for like 3 days then quit. Had to send it off to kicker to get it "refurbished" again.. You pay return shipping and a 15dollar fee for the 30 day warranty period.. I'd buy from somewhere else if I were You.. **I know my experience was bad and it doesn't mean they'll all be that way... just what happened to me on the last kicker amp I bought from there.

Help with saz3000d humming
I know you said you found the issue.. but thought I'd add.. ***this may not be fact but is what I understand it's normal.. All the saz's humm at idle--I was concerened about mine as well. I didn't talk to jake on it but the other competitors said theirs did the same thing... -the amp itself-- it's not normal if it's coming through the woofers. they gave a good reason for it but I don't recall what that reason was

Kicker Solo X 18, ZX2500 Full Sizer Blazer Pics.. Vid to follow..
got it dropped in yesterday... all I can say is WOW.... running half power on the zx2500 it's still super loud... it's not even moving yet I'll get some vids next week after the install is finished. He's got a leaky window that needs to be tended to before we go any further.--And a tailgate that fell off yesterday... while I was sitting on it...

Kicker Solo X 18, ZX2500 Full Sizer Blazer Pics.. Vid to follow..
thanks fella's. The light grey is an exact match to his interior, the "X" is a scaled up Solo "X" logo. The box will be dropped in later today and hooked up using his current amprack--I don't have time to finish it today(and he doens't like to go w/out subs ) The box is 1"MDF the X is cut out of 5/8" mdf. The port is the only part that is really braced up. the port/port bracing braces the top, bottom and front.-- the sub is so large that it's hard to brace around in this size of box. i wanted to go bigger but he needs the room. I'm a little worried about the back panel flexing but we'll see when it's hooked up.. if need be I'll fabricate some sort of bracing. Hopefully with the 1" wood and the smaller box size there won't be any issues) I guess I should mention that I built him the box for free since he was doing me a favor by buying the "big" woofer (he was pretty happy with what he had).. I told him if he bought the beast I'd build him a nice box for it....
