  1. I hope you mean highpass (subsonic) at 29 hz and lowpass at 80 hz. X2 if it's the way you said... there's your problem...
  2. as long as it's consistantly wrong it will help you with tuning... who cares if the overall number is right. just as long as you can monitor increase/decrease in output when you make changes... I used a $50 radioshack meter for three years, it wasn't perfect but good enough for tuning..
  3. isn't built for that
  4. both these guys played music not tones 153db 2 18's and 8.8kwatts two 4400's 159.3db 14K watts 4 audioque 3500's I believe he said wired at .25ohm each Yes that's fur... he has neons mounted in the port
  5. a couple months ago I built a box that is tuned to peak at the vehicle's resonance... I just want to see if it could have been doing 153-154 db if I would have just swapped to a "fart box" **It'll be at a MUCH higher freq... no more 25-30hz
  6. did a 149@ 28hz at db freeze yesterday (burped a 25hz note but showed on the meter at 28?) 151.3db at 35hz trucks getting gutted shortly now that the show is over... I'm gonna test one thing before it comes apart.
  7. gotta love this re-occuring fight I've ran 4 pairs of amps to one of my quad coils.... Yes 4 pairs... so 8 amps but 4 seperate signals.. ***it was louder when all the amps were signal matched but not by much, the old eyeball method was only .2 db down from the signal matching... NOW doesn't that blow your minds sorry just had to step in on the fun !
  8. are you certain they're not out of phase... unhook one and see if it gets louder....
  9. death in the family... probably won't be able to make it. got home from jeremy's yesterday and recieved the phonecall..
  10. wood glue FTW! tommy I've been there... fix the crack via dust and glue
  11. I know you don't sponsor Just messing with ya... I've scene your reply elsewhere. **I am selling it all off..
  12. sponsor me a pair of Xcon 15's and you'll see mid 50's at 30hz....
  13. You been working on this or what???? my trucks up in the 53's now-a-days
  14. not too bad for the large vehicle and the low power (1k)
  15. I've got the 4 Massive Audio p1500.1's from my ram that I will be selling. Clamp tested output of 1700+ watts at 1 ohm and 13.3v. $200 shipped for the ones out of my truck. Selling the truck and all it's components.
  16. that'll do it... 1 ohm and home audio amps are a bad deal
  17. I should make it... still broke though I still own the truck and it's still loud
  18. Fusing should hold on a 3000d . What ohm load do you have the amp running at and what type of fuseblock are you running? it's at 1 ohm on 2 12s (HDC3s) you can get a full burp off about 50 a of fuse with that amp.. .you shouldn't have a problem especially with impedence rise...
  19. sealed on the dash? other woofer still acting as a passive or is that both? just curious
  20. the gasket isn't seated right all the way around the sub. that's why it looks funny..
  21. tommy, your box is so small you don't need bracing I just started using threaded rod... much easier to deal with and a better solution than wood (due to air restrictions) I use 3/8 rod, with 1" fender washers works great so far, I have zero flex on my current box. I try and double up any panel that is larger than 18" in width or length..
  22. see if it does a 152 like his other 12 does
  23. Like tommy needed another woofer congrats... bummed I missed this contest...
  24. Yes, David Moore! www.FIXMYSPEAKER.com Also do you have any RF hx2 motors ya want to part with? thanks for the link. I currently don't have any RF motors for sale
