I would buy another soundqubed. they are great amps and you know for yourself its a great amp. you know what to expect and you already know how it performs. all the other amps mentioned in this thread are also nice amps but if your like me you really dont want to stray too far from a good thing. just my opinion

from my experience almost all audio shops suck no matter where you are. Not all but most.. I bet shipping is a killer up there.Heck yeah it does. It is going to cost me $150 to ship up a single xcon 12". It's painful but for once I feel it's worth it. LolI run a single 12 zcon and people ask me if I have 2 15s. I dont see how you couldn't be happy with any ssa product. Xcons are nice subs as well and I would pay the shipping if I lived up that way. I promise you will be impressed.. build a proper box and hit it with plenty of power and just sit back n smile.

maybe your serpentine belt is to big? mine was doing something similar and I went and got a 1 inch smaller belt and it took right off.. the old belt must have been slipping a little or something but not noticeable to the eye

ssa zcon because I run one already as a single sub setup on 3500 watts its amazingly loud. really deep bass and still sounds good. but idk what your goals are or type of music you like. my goal was to be as loud and deep as possible with a single 12 and I couldnt be happier and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another. I here really good things about dss ethos so you may want to check those out as well

As Aaron just said the boob style dustcaps are much more robust and able to withstand more back pressure. Also the boob style cap is much lighter than the full dish, But in most situations its cosmetic.my bad I forgot to refresh my phone before posting and didnt see it until I already posted.
