  1. BIG! .... Same height and width as all SAZ casings but longer than the 3500D irmc.
  2. Meet half way? ....
  3. Coming along nicely! Way further than mine atm. I have nothing for bump, just my singing and that is terrible.
  4. Be easy on the gain and that would be a great amp on the DCON 12". I have a 10" DCON and had it running off my Sundown SAZ-1000D at 600 watts at 2 ohms. The DCON never had an issue with the extra power.
  5. 4,000 watt rms drivers .....
  6. Active is when you run an electronic crossover instead of passive! Hu>Amp>passive crossover>mid-tweeter is how it will be when you use the passive crossover.
  7. Start with everything flat and adjust to where it sounds best to your ....
  8. Looks good man! You are going to love those amps strapped!
  9. That 3-way set looks amazing!
  10. Internally amplified .... Just about all of them!
  11. Both are rated conservatively. A properly set up amp and you should have no problems with either.
  12. Pretty much! Buy what fits the budget!
  13. Nice sub! SSD is a great buy! Love the new single slug motor!
  14. When my build requires it, I will be going with DC Power!
  15. Dedication and craftsmanship! Enjoy .... 21 Maelstrom Curved Box Build - AVS Forum
  16. How about adding another LI 12"? Double the cone area, double the motor force let alone a great sounding driver with great output potential. SAX-1200D is optimized for a 1 ohm load, dropping it to .5 daily will void warranty. It will be harder on the electrical if you do not have sufficient upgrades.
  17. All install dependent! Just about all quality built drivers are able to get loud, just that some are built to get loud! I would suggest doing some more research and try and listen to as many systems as you can to get an idea of what you may or may not want.
  18. Very informative post! I think I know what to do now and not follow the old saying "More is bertter" route. Thank You Aaron and Don!
  19. This build has to be build of the year! From start to finish it is a great read.
  20. ID has always made quality products. I think you will be impressed with the SQ of the ID's. AA has the 7" Carbon Mids and 1" textile soft dome tweeters that are sold as a set or seperate. Must be run active. Ditch the rear speakers, you don't sit in the back seat when you drive!
  21. I think the 9887 might be the better choice if your not a Pioneer fan. You may want to see of you can find an Eclipse CD-7200 MKII or CD-7000
