With the motor force of the XCON imo you would have more output than the 2 12" DCONS.

The XCON is a high power sound quality driver. Excellent design and built subwoofer. It is notorious for it's output while remaining very accurate on music. Never heard an HDC3 but had an SDC2.5 and was not all impressed at the SQ. It got loud though.

No one makes a bridgeable 4 channel amp anymore? Did I miss something? I haven't seen but one series of amps in close to 20 years that wasn't 2 ohm stable in stereo. I think we all made the mistake of thinking the op was going to run 4 ohm and 2 ohm together as in a parallel connection. (Or at least I was). You are right that there are 4 channel amplifiers that are stable to 2 ohms per channel stereo and bridgeable. Sundown being one of them.
