IA DR and the Fi BL will be similar on power handling and output. IA DP and Fi BTL are going to be an all out high power, high output driver. As far as which will get louder depends on box, electrical and overall install. Overhead will not hurt anything as long as you know when a driver is stressing (Distortion). The IA DR series is a great driver and gets low and loud,

You may want to rethink the SA-15" from Sundown. The SA series is a very stout driver that can get ridiculously loud in a small enclosure. The SQ is outstanding as well. With the Pre-Order going this is one of the best buys right now!

More than likely either full range signal or switchable to low pass. Bromo on here has that amplifier I believe, he will know the answer for sure.
Make sure you have a line out on your Receiver.

I never owned an SSD but helped somebody build an enclosure for an 18" flatwire D1. I was impressed with how low and loud this woofer was. These are a great buy imo!
I would contact Fi! They should have record of your order and be able to tell you what you selected.
I would try IB first. It looks like you have more than enough room for the pvc idea you had.

By cutting off those plastic pieces in your last pic, you maybe able to make a mdf baffle and mount that to the door itself and see if the panel fits over that.
Most times those speakers are mounted in the doors in an IB setup. I would would not seal them up as it might affect your midbass output.
Post some pics of the door. It will be easier to recommend something.
Take a look at Sir-Lancelot's build log. I think his doors are similar to yours.
