  1. Mods please move this to the "Feedback" section ....
  2. Received my voltage gauge in excellent condition. Great seller with excellent communication! Thanks man!
  3. Got my pair of 6" Aero Ports today in great shape. Fast shipping and communication! Thanks Scott!
  4. Possibly the new Zv.2 from Sundown or the DR from IA.
  5. Welcome ....
  6. Are you still planning on running them active?
  7. Very nice! I like the attention to detail and the quality of the glue joints! Sundown ftw!
  8. Nice amp! The T-series is a power house.
  9. You will not be dissapointed by either the DR or BL. Both can get loud and still remain musical. All install dependent of course.
  10. Of all the brands carried on SSA it will be like tossing a coin. All great companies with great products and great customer service.
  11. You could look into Audiopipe, Powerbass, Planet Audio etc. Kicker refurbs are for sale on eBay for a decent price. Also the classifieds section here would be a good start.
  12. Since the "Q" is designed for a flatter response across the sub bass frequencies I would say yes!
  13. Net will be the total with all displacements accounted for. Calculate the displacment of the port as part of the enclosure as it is inside the box taking up space.
  14. 10" PVC pipe OD = 10.5" ID = 9.9" Wall Thickness = .3" then the wood on the box is 3/4" ... so if i do my box at 15.4 cf i just stick in the 19.53" tube and its going to be at 32hz? You will have to have account for wood, bracing, port and speaker displacement to come up with a net volume of either 15.4 or 16.6 cubic feet.
  15. A lot of SA-8 owners here. I would go with a simple ported enclosure tuned to 35hz on the pair. It will be loud, sound good and still give you the room. Also it will still give you the "WOW! Those are 8"?"
  16. Find out the id of the sono tube and add the wall thickness to come up with the displacement. To find the tuning is the same as finding the length of a slot port. For 15.4ft^3 tuned to 32hz each port should be 19.53" For 16.6ft^3 tuned to 32hz each port should be 17.59" http://www.carstereo...icles.cfm?id=31
  17. Going to date myself here but I had a Pyle A200 on 2 pair of 10" MTX Cranker series subwoofers. This is Pyle Industries and was based out of Indiana and a part of the Harman International Group not the current whored out Pyle name that everybody knows now. It was the only thing available in my area at the time. And it seemed to hang with RF and HiFonics at the time and I wanted to stray away from the norm. I actually still have the amp and a matching A404 4 channel.
  18. Welcome ....
  19. Mmmmm Wardens! Looking forward to your testing results.
  20. Sweet ride! Install looks great! Nice review, I would love to hear Hertz in person as I have heard nothing but positive things.
  21. It's all install dependent when it comes to which sounds better and or louder.
  22. Not so much the product as it is the busisness practices and customer service or lack of.
  23. It's a beast! Very loud and musical. I traded my pair of LI 15" for the DR 18" and couldn't be happier.
  24. Some other options if your going all out and taking the seat out .... Sundown SA-15, Incriminator Audio LI-15, Fi SSD-15, SSA ICON Also I would recommend doing the "Big 3" in 1/0 and run 1/0 wire right in the beginning since you most likely will upgrade later
