The only thing about that is I won't be using my amp's full potential. Not that it is necessarily a bad thing, I'd just like to use all of it, so to speak. Actually with the sealed box the low end will roll off slower and will not affect the low end at all. Ported will be louder over the sealed. How much? That is hard to say. Running a subwoofer in it's optimum enclosure specs will yield very little difference. If anything the low end will be sacrificed in a smaller sealed box.

Definately midbass is what you need! I would look into a 7-8" driver for that application.

Shouldn't make a difference 11.3 volts to 13.8. It's a 12 volt trigger relay to turn the amp on. You could use a jumper from your 12 volt power and touch the remote turn on and see what it does.

Do you already have the Fi Q? Some more background info would help us help you.
