I would definitely get the "Big 3" done. As far as your voltage drop, I would not be that worried as long as you stay at or above 12 volts. That shows your alt is charging your battery correctly and your battery is doing an adequate job.

The loudness feature was meant to increase the bass and treble on lower volumes. But when you turn up the volume it will overdrive the output or in other words clip the signal and send distortion to your amps then on to the speakers.

It's pretty simple really! Nobody can tell you how many db's those woofers will do in that type of box! We need to know a lot more than the specs of the woofer. You need to explain your goals, budget and what equipment you already have or plan on getting. There is a lot of helpful members here to help.

Give us a little more info to go on then! Like your goals and budget!

^^this^^, i would also like any tips on kerfing if possible. like how deep did you cut and what was the spacing, as well as the final radii? thanks It takes a lot practice! Start with 5/8" deep and 1/2" - 3/4" spacing until you get your desired radius.

A friend of mine has the 5.25" "Classic" comp series with upgraded tweeter and imo they are just flat sounding! Nothing impressive about them at all. Are the RE 6.5's the XXX version?

You have a 18" Fi Q and nothing but factory on your front stage? I understand your non liking of words in your music, but c'mon there is a lot more than voice to hear! I would re-think about upping your budget and at least get some aftermarket coaxials and another amp to drive them. It will be night and day difference than what you have now. Just my $0.02!
