  3. when you can't finish and you give up a short handed it sucks WTF are you guys talking about? NHL hockey ... It's a Minnesota thing
  4. Minnesota Wild just looked flat tonight in their season opener ....
  5. Nice! Imo the SSD is a very underrated and overlooked woofer!
  6. I would see about building them out as well! 1 pair up front should be adequate.

  11. Dang it! Could we do it again and have her.....Nevermind!
  12. SPL ported would be a higher tuning frequency like 45hz or higher. You could still do 2 cubic feet but tune it to 35hz and still remain musical. I would stay around the 35hz tuning for your musical tastes.
  13. As Adrian said use your crossovers in your amps! The SAX-100.4 has great flexibility. Plus it will avoid adding another processor in the signal chain and the chance of noise.
  14. Im not a fan of the lower line CDT's either. Imo opinion they just lack overall midrange presence. Never heard the RE Comps or the newer Boston Acoustics. Not sure how MB Quart is now that Maxxsonics owns them. If I were you I would look into the Focal Access line for lower end comps. http://www.woofersetc.com/p3372/165A1--Focal-Access-65"-2-Way-Component-Speakers.htm
  15. There is no magical formula for making an SPL box. Testing differen't enclosures in your vehichle is what to do. Do you know what your vehichles peak frequency is? Find a shop or person with a Term Lab and find your peak frequency and tune your box to that or around that frequency .
  16. 45 degree corners help in bracing and to help with the airflow to the port openig. Not sure if there is a formula for calculating other than subtracting if from your internal volume and taken into account for port length. Kerf cuts take practice and a lot of it! Try 5/8 deep and space anywhere from 1/4" on up to find your desired radius.
  17. Why are you looking to run that much power to a "Fi-Q". With your choice in amplifiers your looking for loud! Look into the BL or BTL.
  18. Another option would be... http://www.sounddeadenershowdown.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi Don will sell you only what you need for your application. I would suggest reading through each product description and make your choice.
  19. ICON is an SSA woofer! http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/index.php/product-information/icon.html
