  1. Ever thought of going active with that amp?
  2. If your using a standard port design and you break it down to look like that vs a standard L-shaped port should not really have any audible difference. A T-Line enclosure is a whole different design. ..... Read the link below http://www.quarter-wave.com/
  3. T-Line (Transmission)
  4. What's the plan for woofers and amplifiers?
  5. Looking forward to your build!
  6. Davis' biggest mistake was letting Gruden go!
  7. My past experience with good results in a trunk car, I would go sub and port firing to the rear of the trunk...(B)
  8. Dang work computer blocking the images!
  9. A friend also has the 220 amp in his 2001 S-10 Blazer. Hasn't had a problem in the last year and a half.
  10. i 2nd this coment agreee 100% Like i said i down sized the box now it is 8.36 cubic feet but one last question do these subs play better straight up and down or on the side or does not make a differences Not quite following you! Straight up and down? As in 1 woofer on top of the other on the same panel facing forward?
  11. The 4 10" DCONS as Shizzon and Denim said. I have 1 10" DCON in a 1.33 Cubic foot box tuned to 33HZ and it is very impressive for a single 10" on 500 watts.

    Logo for what?
  13. k..but i still wanna be able to listen daily music to it....like rap, hawaiian, rock and all different kinds. is the btl that much different than the bl sq wise? The quality of the sound has a great deal to do with the set up and install. There are plenty of people running the BTL's daily. As BTL = Built To Last. thanks. ive always wondered that haha. what is bl and q? BL = Berry Loud ....
  14. My vote is the custom Sundown SA-12 or the SSA ICON! SoundSplinter is out of the RL-p 12 according to the website.
  15. ok here are the new dimensions i started not a huge differences but should this be a small enough box 49 inches long - 18inches tall - 21 inches deep also running 3/4 MDF board and am putting in 45s which should take some room What is my cubic feet on this box Looks to be 8.36 cubic feet after speaker displacement
  16. 10^3' is way to big! I run mine at 7^3' tuned to 35HZ. With your rap listening I would recommend between 30-33hz tuning.
  17. Most have the woofer(s) and port facing back towards trunk opening with good results.
  18. Nice find!
  19. Great looking enclosure!
  20. Ditch the pre-fab box and build your own with proper specs and tuning to your woofer and see how well you like it then. Your amp should be adequate with what you got now. If upgrading to either the AQ or BTL, expect to spend $$$ on electrical upgrades and a higher output amplifier to get those woofers working.
  21. Look into the new Sundown SA-12. Great sounding woofer that will go low and do it loudly! Incriminator Lethal Injections are another great choice but with your amp, might recommend the Death Row series. I love my 15" Lethal Injections, they have great sound quality along with getting loud. A lot of options here on SSA, that I think whatever choice you make will be a good one.
  22. Daily or straight SPL? Read this.... Good luck...
