Personally I would staty away from Soundstorm. I would put them in the same class as Pyramid. If your on a budget take a look at db-r electronics http://www.db-r.com/ for some refurbished amps from Sundown. Sundown = Great Company with Great Customer Support!

I would strap to a 2 ohm load. Easier to set the gain. As far as the Maxxlink I could not tell you!

well mine obviously does since it starts out at 14.2 it should stay at that instead of slowly dropping. Friend of mine has the same year vehicle only a Blazer and his is rock steady at 14.5 at start up but will drop down to 14.1 when he turns up the volume knob. His system is modest compared to most! He has a 200amp DB Electrical Alt and an Optima Red top up front. i wish mine stayed that high lol. when it sits at 13.5 it usually drops to 13.2-.1 on most songs. That's not bad as far as voltage goes. Are your running stock alt?
