  1. Happy Birthday!
  2. Not these personally, but have heard various Scan-Speak drivers in some very nice DIY home projects. If I were in the market for a passive kit I would look into this as an option.
  3. Wow great craftsmanship! Keep up the great work man! Enjoying all the progress pics.
  4. The Incriminator Audio Death Row series is an excellent driver that will be a great match for your amp. Great output and sq imo. Follow IA box specs and you got yourself a great daily sub woofer setup. IA DR ftw!
  5. Wow this is a fail thread right from the beginning. Op go read the NOOB posting guidelines before posting again. The W7 is a great driver. Yes it doesn't fit everybody's budget but it doesn't mean it's overpriced or over hyped. It was not designed for sheer output so should not be mentioned in an SPL comparison.
  6. The SA-8 would have more motor over the DCON but the DCON is an amazing sounding sub woofer. I have both and the SA-8 has more output with the pair to the ear. The DCON 10" in a 1.33ft^3 enclosure tuned to 33hz sounds amazing in my truck and in the wife's Bonneville. The output is impressive but the sq is where it shines imo.
  7. Obviously his biceps are bigger than his pea sized brain.
  8. I use Stinger HPM, but I buy used cuz i'm cheep! Stinger Pro, HPM Memphis Rockford Fosgate Streetwires Monster Cable Kicker KnuKonceptz efx (Scosche) Other brands you could look at are AudioPipe, Bullz Audio and P3 (American Terminal) WeldingSupply.com Trystar Flexoprene
  9. Seriously? Learn to spell Tard!
  10. Good luck with the build! lulz at Chris The Man packin' the fudge!
  11. No comparison in the X vs the BTL other than both made by Fi. Keep the BTL's!
  12. Well that was interesting! All I know is I will never buy a "Constrained Layer Dampening" product from anybody that does not know what they are doing or even how it works. SDS FTMFW!
  13. At all costs stay away from this CRAP! Don't believe his hype nothing but a crook imo!
  14. Looks great man! Nice product choice ...
  15. These fit within your budget Scan-Speak and might be worth a look.
  16. Nothing really audible to the ear.
  17. Go ported if you can. It will be more than you expect lol!
  18. Take a look Here I bought one just to check out lol. The price can't be beat.
  19. If your wanting the box to be below the window line I would either go sealed or go with Aero ports as they will take up less internal airspace and decrease your port area by up to 50%. There a lot of members here who have run XCONS both sealed and ported. They will chime when they see this post.

    Welcome ....
  21. Welcome .... The XCONS will perform great in a sealed enclosure. If your going for more of an sq setup sealed might be your best choice. Though XCONS sound great in ported as well.
  22. Bullz Audio I bought about 3 years ago was undersized CCA. Not sure about their current wire. Install Bay is a Metra/Tsunami brand but more econmical so more than likely CCA.
