Check your speaker connections on the sub woofer and amp itself.

Fi does not model well at all. Go with what Fi technical recommends for enclosure size.

Main difference between the ICONS and XCONS is the power handling. Both drivers were designed with sq first. Both are amazing drivers. Cannot go wrong with SSA!

Welcome back! Haven't seen you post in quite some time. Yeah, my interests of late have been drifting away from audio. I'll try to make more frequent visits, but it's impossible to keep up with people in here if you only visit the IHOP once a week or whatever. People just post too darn much! (jk) I know what you mean lol.

You can always look through the classifieds for a good used amp. Maxxsonics seem to have a hit or miss product within their lineups. Brutus line seem to be ok though. Members here on the forum have had good luck with Audiopipe.

Look at eBay as some sellers offer free shipping.

The new RF Punch series are small and are smaller than the prime amplifiers.

What is the amp rated at for power output?

Arc, MMATS, Rockford and Massive make some very nice small foot print amplifiers. As far as the noise issue on the PDX i'm not sure. Friend of mine carries the Alpine line and he's never mentioned any problems with noise.

Alpine quality so I would say pretty good imo. Only thing is they have a fixed SSF not adjustable. Nice small foot print though.
