  1. It's not 100% more like 99.99% Just stay away from CCA and stick with OFC for high power applications (1K watts or more imo)
  2. I believe the Knu has the most strands in their Kolossus Flex cable. Either kit would be more than enough for your application. 250 amp should be ok but would still look at a 300 amp fuse as your fusing the capacity of the wire. good read
  3. That would be hilarious! The way the Packers played they look unstoppable right now.
  4. The black will be fine. I just liked that orange color I would use a 300 amp anl fuse up front by the battery for 1/0.
  5. Personally I stay away from the KCA stuff as it's copper clad aluminum. But Knu has great products and CS.
  6. Get us your box and port dimensions then we can make sure everything is correct on your box. Sounds like the subwoofer is unloading.
  7. Another option for power cable is This click on the Ultra Flex link and check out the orange wire.
  8. ^^^What watts09 said^^^ eBay has some real junk wire retailers. I bought some 4 gauge Bullz Audio brand and it is more like 6 gauge if not smaller, it was all jacket.

Real world I wouldn't go over that by much. Basically it is a install dependent (strong electrical, correct enclosure, gain setting etc.)
  10. Check the classifieds section, I think there was some Sundown SAZ-3000's available.

Then SA-15 should fit your goal and produce both great sound and #'s. People have done amazing things with the SA-12 as far as #'s. The SA-15 can go in a smaller enclosure than 4^ft3 so that will fit your enclosure requirements and with a MSRP of $285 it fits the budget.
  12. What amplifier(s)?
  13. Unless you can link (strap) those amps I would not advise running two seperate amplifiers. Gain matching can be tricky with two seperate amplifiers.

Describe some goals as to what you want and what you have for other equipment. Hard to just recommend something on very little information already given.

DC lvl 4XL is a high power, high output driver that will be considerable more in price. SA-15 is a low power daily driver. But it can produce impressive spl.

SA15 and lvl4-XL are 2 totally different designs
  17. Even though they are rated at 300 watts rms you should still be ok with the P1000. Be smart with the volume control and set the gains properly.

It has no competition it is the be all end all of subwoofers! Each subwoofer has its own characteristics and sound. It comes down to install and end user. Trying to compare to another brand is difficult.
  19. Welcome ....
  20. Either amp should fit the bill just fine. Does budget pursuade the choice?
  21. What impedence are you planning on running on the trio?
  22. LOL it needs to be updated. Are you looking at dual 2 ohm or dual 4 ohm? Depending on where you are located a rep/dealer might be able to help you.
