  1. Welcome ....
  2. That's a good thing since the Sundowns don't break that often. But then again it does stink when you cannot get a deal on a great amp. Nice amp Nem!
  3. Looks interesting! Another Brazilian small footprint amplifier ftw.
  4. I prefer to use a 60-80hz tone when using the DMM method. You will not see a constant 4 volt output on your deck so I wouldn't worry to much about that. Use your ear as well to listen for stress in the subwoofer and a voltage gauge to monitor your battery voltage.
  5. You may want to consider the IA Death Row or Death Penalty series. My 18" DR is a low end beast, with a tight accurate transient attack that I prefer and I'm tuned to 37hz. A lot great options out there. The Zv.2 is a beefier, louder subwoofer than the Zv.1.
  6. I think the XCONS will definitely fit the bill covering the low's your looking for while handling the power fine. 3 tens may pose an odd impedance for your amplifier. In the past I always went with either a pair of 10" or 12" in trunk applications.
  7. ID makes great product and those subs are probably 20 years old. As far as being weak that is not fair as they are nothing like today's high power built drivers. Those are built for sq only. If your looking for bass pass on these and follow Shizzzon advice. Still a great buy on some classic ID subs.
  8. Wow! Amazing craftsmanship!
  9. What's with the multiple posts on the same subject? No need to clutter the board with the same subject. Click it
  10. A lot of choices out there, choose wisely grasshopper. A Sundown SAX-1200D matched with any of the higher power handling 15" from the SSA Store would be a great combination. Easy on the electrical as well.
  11. Looks good, too bad I don't need a belt
  12. Sounds like a good plan and a nice list of equipment. If you want a lot of bass I would go with a pair of 15" BL's ported. As far as mids/tweets take a look at what the SSA store has for Bravox product. Great prices on a great speaker line. Amps well i'm very biased towards Sundown but your choices are all very good.
  13. Contact Bromo here on SSA or Here
  14. He does T-shirts, hats, etc as well irmc.
  15. Is the processing done before the amplifier or using built in crossovers in the amplifier itself? Sundown has full range outputs. You can utilize the crossover section and ssf on the amp itself and create a bandpass filter. Line Out swill still be full range as they by pass the internal crossver section.
  16. Welcome ....
  17. ^^^What Steve Said^^^
  18. Sundown Zv.2 12" can get nasty loud. IA DR series would be another great option. The BL is a great driver and you should be more than happy with it.
