I would start with what SSA recommends for enclosure size and model from there. 9^ft is way to large imo for the DCONS.

Another option that Fi has, you can re-cone the woofer if you ever have a boo-boo with the volume control. Not sure how Soundstream CS works.

The SSD is a very solid and capable driver, very underrated imo! No experiance with the Soundstream. I would recommend the Fi SSD due to the quality USA hand built customizeable quality!

XCON is a 1750 watt rms driver. Do it!

Reading the descriptions of both might tell you the differences. No one can tell you which one will be louder as there are to many variables that go into an install.

Thanks for the info. Might I ask what the difference would be going from 3.5 to 4 cu ft? And also, what would I hear different moving from say 32hz to 33hz or maybe down to 30hz? I currently have a box 3.5 @ 32hz but need to rebuild it for a different vehicle. Does a bigger box need less power from the amp? Say I have 1250 watts on the 3.5 cu ft box. Would I hear an increased output taking that same amp to a larger box? Nothing audible to your ear!
