3. Haha I definitely lol'd at that comment. learned what? lol ill be running each sub at rms so no wirries! and iv never done a 4th order myself so why not try something new?? He is talking about the 4th order your friend used that caught the zcon on fire. There are risk at ANY power when running a 4th order, that may be greater than utlilizng a traditional ported enclosure. The reasons to not running a 4th order can be many, but manly the difficulty of properly not only designing, but as well as constructing.
4. Picture of manuel? Maybe we can help translate what it is saying for you.
5. I wouldn't consider DC myself.
6. This will be enough for resonance. As far as road noise, I'm not really concerned with it. I just want to make sure I don't have any structural damage on the sheet metal from flexing. Interested in seeing this method vs the 3 layers of deadner method for aquiring the same results.
7. Nice job! I've never seen this method used before. Can't wait to see the results. Will you be able to add any deadner to it? Or is this the only acoustic enhancements you will be making?
8. Julian is Livin' Loud!!!
9. Looking good. When are you going to seal it off?
10.
I'll put in a word for ya ok Chuck. I haz z hookup.

11. I should also add that Swift will be building this monster! He too is a great guy to deal with and would HIGHLY recommend him to anybody. For this build I will be utliizing 1" Oak wood adn construction will begin this weekend hopefully. Evil will be here on Monday so stay tune to my build log for updates!
12. Please contact Josh at http://www.facebook.com/#!/josh.w.hart or http://www.facebook.com/#!/groups/449888281732464/ and PLEASE tell him I sent you! He is truely a great guy to deal with. I was sent to him from Duran. He responds very fast, and is easy to deal with. He has just finished up my design for my 18" SSA Evil and really went above and beyond my expectiations. This is not just any ordinary designer who build an enclosure around your limited space. He actually aims for your goals and utilizes your intended goals into every aspect of the enclosure. When you message him, I would suggest to include any additional information that you may think that could help the design process. For example, I told specifically what frequency range I am really concnerned with or what response I am looking for. I told the characteristics of my vehicle, genre of music I listen to, the amount of power utilized, etc! Here are the results of my enclosure. 8.3 cuft Net tuned to 33hz 128cuin of port Pictures!
13. Damn if this is still for sale in a week!
14. Well I just replied to 17 post only for it to say my open quotes don't match the closed quotes. Long story short, Thanks everyone for the kind words!! I really appreciate it and I can't wait to show you guys the FIRST production Evil
15. It seems Alton has already set you straight, he is really a great guy, and I would listen to his advice. Especially in this case, your friend is a friggin idiot for running his system the way he is. I could only imagine what anything else looks like in his vehicle. You are in good shape. You made a good decision in box and equipment. Now, don't slack on the build of the box. If you don't trust your own craftmanship, then find and pay someone else. The design is only as good as its constrution. I can't wait to see this thing come together. Trust me, your system will sound so much better then him.
16. He told me he was buying you a whole Evil setup?
17. Hell yeah man! Can't wait for results!
18. Looking good!! What are they rated at?
