  1. lol, we get it, you don't like the 360. Thats fine, atleast I know for a fact that none of my ID is out there at the mercy of a non secure network THAT lol Touche sir...Touche. You do realize that one of those "hacks" or "security breach" were internal??? Yes? Which means that anyone with access to your information has the capability to copy it regardless of security used.. Why do you think there are so many identity theft companies out there right now? lol... When you connect to a "private" server for games they can get certain information beyond your USER ID.... Just FYI .... Without getting too off topic. Your first statement is true..... FOR ANY COMPANY. Also, thats called poor risk management which is a vulnerability in one of the 7 layers of an IT infastructure. That is just a risk that every company should try and mititagate, which is where Sony failed. Just FYI
  2. 3.44 - 3.80 in Nashville Spent 60$ yesterday to fill up my 21 gallon tank. I was just shy of being on E.
  3. Well aparently this guy broke his windsheild with two of their 15's... Check this vid out, watch the end of it if you just wna c what I'm talking about. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtXDXrQ4qV8&NR=1
  4. I think it would have made more sense to just price it at 50 to be honest, because even if they sell it for 139, there still gonna be tax and then S&H... Then, more if your getting it from a dealer. Especially when you can get a DMM for 100 bucks ya know.
  5. Look, this thread was not created to talk about which system is better than one, Just to help those people out there that are having problems with their Xbox 360, PS3, the PSP, and the WII. If you need help, simply go check this site out. http://llamma.com/

  7. Thats not the problem lol. They rushed it out, thats the only problem, and is still in a better shape then the ps3. Sony invested soooo much money in the ps3, and look how long it took for them just to earn their investment back. Sony in general is not in the best of shape ATM, at least I don't think, just something I heard about. I love my xbox, always have and always will, no matter how faulty the hardware can be, because its all about the content.
  8. Xbox has a lot of games out there that are really fun. Again, that is your reason for not wanting a 360, but IMHO, the 360 overall is simply just a better system. With the media center, you can watch live tv, media from your pc, netflix, etc etc. Of course, the ps3 has its advantages as well. But, just my opinion I guess.... The kinnect is bad ass as well. Just think of how innovetive this technology is. Think outside the box, not just for gaming, but this technology is gonna blast off, helping the ill, helping children, creating robots. Just youtube Kinnect Mods, crazy shit like rendering 3D imaging and self flying helicopter to active camouflage, the shit is legit.
  9. Take it apart, if you don't know how, its very easy and simple. This is where youtube is your friend. Just simply grab some q-tips, and alcohol, and if you have WD40, use that, I don't, so instead I used a tab of soap. Use the q-tip and alcohol first to clean the rails, you will know what I'm talking about once you open it up. Also, there is another gold swirly thing that the Lens slides up and down, clean that as well. Now, once you clean up all of the build up, use whatever you have to lube up the rails and that other swirly thing. This should fix it, if not, let me know.
  10. If you REALLY like single sub set-ups, then you already know the answer to that. IMO, I think, two subs with the same amount of power would sound louder then just one sub on the same amount of power. But thats just my guess. Remember, TWO heads are better than ONE I say that because of cone area. But again, if you don't have sufficient space availible for those two BL's, then don't do it. It will sound better if you give the BTL a happy home rather then two BL's squeezed into a closet. Get what I'm saying?
  11. Lol, even with the cartridge systems, you would have to blow in them sometimes, or, grab a q-tip, some alcohol, and rub the q-tip across the little gold teeth lol.
  12. First, determine which drive you have. Use this link to help. http://llamma.com/xbox360/Xbox_360_DVD_Drive_Comparison.htm Sometimes, its the magnet that has gone bad, could be the motor, it could be the rails that simply just need some lube.
  13. Here's how you fix it guy http://llamma.com/xbox360/repair/ring_of_light_x-clamp_fix.htm
  14. I had my btl in my 96 explorer sub up port back... But I'm in the same boat as you, I don't know which way would be louder, and ALWAYS wanted to know without testing myself because of funds. I stopped by a auto dealer once though, and it told me it would sound better sub and port back because it "physics" lol, w/e thats suppose to mean???
  15. The psN got hacked 3 times btw The xbox is a good system. But the manufactured flaws do hold it back from being just like, the best system ever. Again, try the qtip trick I stated, and it would usually last a while before craping out again, and in that event try it again, and then it may or may not work, but just try it. Or, you could follow some of the tips from llama, or the other site I listed. It really just depends on how much work your willing to do, you can fix it permanently, but takes some time. Oh, And I love the Kinnect, I just admire the technology behind it, I guess thats because I love technology in general. It sucks it RROD on you though... Those things are a bitch to take a part. If you just got it,then it should still be under the factory warrenty. Also, the place you put it also has a HUGE factor, try to give it room to breath, like you would for a subwoofer or an amplifier. Not against any walls, nothing blocking vents, and don't have anything covering up the power supply, (the brick). Also, Newer games take a lot out of that GPU that was made what, 6 years ago, so, just be aware that newer games like Halo reach, All of the new CODs, all of those high processed games take a lot of energy to play, so keep that in mind.
  16. If you have an Xbox 360, and if you or somebody you know, needs some help. Here is a few links that could help. http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=484726 http://llamma.com/ Let me know what you think, or have any questions, I may or may not be able to answer, but I've been dealing with these faulty machines for a while now lol. The best "quick fix" I have been using for a while now, is the Q-tip trick. Simply stick a q-tip in each fan behind the console for 5 minutes, you will notice two red flashing lights, pull out, let cool, and then power up Any comments are welcomed. Cheers.
  17. You can do it at any freq... Depends on your system. To simply ask which one is better, is like, me asking you whats the best flavor of ice cream. If you don't know what I like, then how could you tell me the right answer? You get what I'm saying?
  18. Listening with Astro A40's now
  19. Maybe try to get a new box using Aero Ports, and throw a bag of Poly Cotton in there... You want to give which ever sub you choose the most air to breath.
  20. Ok, don't want to start any kind of drama here, lol. Just want to inform those who don't know. The Steve Meade Distortion Detector has a price listed for "less" then 139$ each. I'm guessing 138.99$ If you don't know what this product is, here is the info for it provided by his youtube channel. Also, I don't own any rights for this or any of the following information given. lol, I don't want any kind of legal trouble from the man. Just informing the community. "Ever wonder how to set your amp gains properly? Do you just turn them up till its loud enough for you and call it done? Do you turn them up all the way...... or do you tell your boys "my amp is ONLY up 1/4 of the way"? If you want to set them properly then the only true way to do it previously, is to us an Oscilloscope or "O-Scope" to detect a clipped signal. Well now you have a cheaper yet very accurate alternative, the SMD Distortion Listener (no official name yet). This was developed for and with SMD by Tony of D'amore Engineering and our other partner and electronic guru Juan. It was developed for those who dont have access to an O-Scope or even if they did, they might not understand how to use one. This is a pretty fool proof way to do it, without the scope. Put it this way, this device might not just force you to turn your gain down, in some cases you might have left some of your power "on the table" and werent taking advantage of it. Use tracks ranging from 0db to -10 db (included on the disc) to set your gain overlaps according to the way you play your system. Detailed instructions will be included of course and i promise you this is EASY." ( )Now, any comments? lol
  21. Not in Taco Bell's anything! 85% is real beef
  22. Haha, yeah, I watched that vid too. What else do you know about the company though? The reason I found this company was because of that black chick, Ladie something with numbers, but, wasn't much impressed...
